just unboxed my pair, cant belive this is finally over and done with bought these on the 24th after having my FNL order cancelled an striking out at three malls in my area , paid $270 shipped which is well worth it to me after seeing them , I feel I got a great pair no flaws other than a slight dimple on the midsole of the left shoe , got the shining tissue papper, production dates are 6/08/11 - 9/23/11 on to the pics (excuse the cell phone shots)
*que Frank Sinatra - 96 it was a VERY good year *
and the rest of the XI family , this is the first re retro I've gotten and I must say I am impressed in terms of quality, 96 columbias, 00 concord,Greys ,and Jams, 01 breds and wht red lows,all of which were balled in hard in high school during varsity and AAU tourneys, 11 bred IE and 11 concords, definatly will need a fresh pair of columbias next year and possibly will search for some 10 greys soon. anyways peace nike talk this release has been lots of fun .
P.S finish line send my sons damn sz10c !!!

Checked through the last few pages, and even went into the old thread but couldn't find anything.. I saw someone mentioned something about a stamp in their box, can anyone please tell me what this means? Haven't been in the concord threads in a minute. Thanks.

Safe to say this release trumps all other releases in terms of mayhem....Grapes in 06...first DMPs.....even the first CG XIs...

From what I have read (and from looking at my own pairs), MOST if not ALL of the pairs purchased from legitimate sources (FTL, NDC, FNL, CT, END, etc.) have the stamp inside the box. VERY FEW (actually, I haven't seen ANYONE post that they did) of the pairs purchased from "questionable"/"early release"/"unauthorized" sources have the stamp.

I ordered from there...a guy on the last forum did a side by side photo of his MK kicks and I think NDC kicks...
I quickly cancelled and requested a refund...the end.

I admit that the list isn't as moderated as much as it used to be but it's still useful. And no, not just anybody can get onto the list. The reason they're still on the list is because they fall under that whole "grey area" of sneaker websites. It's still debatable that they sell fakes. I added a note to the list awhile back and asked that people use these sites at their own risk. I've seen pairs bought from them and maybe I'm lucky or just happened to see legit pairs, but the shoes were identical to store bought pairs.

At this point everyone should know...restocks are pretty much done unless you walk up on some cancellations out of nowhere. I think I would be suspicious of any site that popped up with multiple pair in various sizes. Just not worth the risk...
The aftermarket (Craigslist, EBay, Sell Forum) is probably the best bet now. Can probably make some flat offers to people of $250-280 and still get them cheaper than you would online.

Do you guys put rmk store in the same boat as mental kicks? The reason I ask is because they do preorders but they don't fulfill those orders until after the release date. They are on the legit list but I know how that's been questioned recently. Anyone ever dealt with them? Not necessarily for this release but for a future reference.
