Was lucky enough to get 2 pairs...still in the hunt for one more size 12 but will not pay anything over $250 if not then watevs! Also trying to help a friend out on getting his pair. Patience is the key on getting a pair for the price you want.

Our release here in Vegas was smooth at my local NT...they even had some contest on who had the nicest/rare Js and they had to be worn. Winner would get a pair of cords. Needless to say that there were some sick Js out there that night but I know most dudes didn't want to UNDS their heats for a chance to win a $200 shoe. Best release party I've went to, no riots,fights etc.

My NT made everyone go around the line once so everyone could at least get a pair of their own size. If you wanted to buy more you would have to go back in line then when you get to the front you need to pick a chip from a bag. Black chip=1 pair so if you pick that you only get to purchase the first pair you got and pretty much stood in line twice for nothing. White chip=2 pairs and you get to buy another one then go home. Red chip=3 pairs so you could buy the second pair and go back in line again. Max was 3 pairs if you were lucky. Was semi lucky and picked a white chip.

Sooo Champs gets close to 90 pair and you guys only get 9? I was shocked.. But the majority were angry.
A lot of people started to verbally abuse the manager and they had to be escorted out by security..
But really tho.. How you gonna have a FSR of youth but only 9 pairs of mens?
A lot of people were salty. My boy got his pair and we left to try to execute the next spot on our list.
You could see it in their eyes.. They lied about their stock.. Straight up. But what can you do?
Its a cold game.


You COULD call their district manager or even corporate and report them. I know one manager out here that got fired last year for pulling some "reserve" stuff for some of his buddies, the DM wasn't having it on his watch.

I've had nothing but bad fortune with this release.
website crashes, standing in line and getting nothing, restocks - getting nothing

Dudes got multiple pairs, still coppin more.
All I want is one size 11 without paying double on ebay.

This release really soured me on JB a little bit.

I got worked on east bay release and nike.com. Server was just too flooded and I couldn't get through at all. I live in Sweden so I just ordered from Kickz.com. Simple fast and safe, Got the shoes within a week. If theres any other big release like that again I don't have to worry about the big sites, its just a waste of time. Sorry for the people who couldn't get them at all....Just a shoe though.

Lil young kid met me. Was a little unsure if dude was serious...but sure enough, they were legit. Dude was geeked when he saw the concords....LOL.

That's bs. Defiantly call the dm or corporate. I hate employees who pull this crap, they're not a mom and pop, stock holders(profits) come before employees. Employees can line up like the rest.

I am pretty much done with this release as well. I just got my 2nd and final pair from CT. This release was sooo much drama tho w/ all the fakes, hype, complaints, lines, websites crashing, etc. Glad its over and hope others get there pair at retail. Praying for restocks...

This.  I'm not really a collector but have always wanted the concords.  Missed out on release day because I'm just not in the know anymore and wasn't prepared.  Not wanting to deal with possible b-grades from shady foreign websites, yesterday I just posted an ad on craigslist that I would pay $280 for a pair in my size and not a penny more.  Received three responses within the hour with two offering to sell for $300 but one dude said he would take $280.  This at the time when most CL posts were asking for $350-450.  Met him that afternoon and got my pair.  He was a college student and stood outside FL for 12 hours to get them.  Obviously would have rather paid retail but that shipped has sailed for regular folks.  At the end of the day I figure I paid him $7/hour to wait in line which is fair and I was more than happy to do.  No disrespect to him but for someone with a career now my time is worth more than $7/hour.

I would be shocked if you can't get a paid for $300 or perhaps even significantly less.  There are tons out there and a lot of sellers are content just unloading now for a sure profit then waiting and competing with other sellers in a downward market.  Good luck.

I wasn't really planning on trying to get these, but from November on I felt the urge to find them grow. I managed to secure 1 pair locally a few days before they came out and 1 pair from H-S. Gotta say I'm really happy with my purchases and can't wait for a reason to wear these out.

@*@ is up with the carbon fiber plate? Seems like JB cut costs again SMH......the plate looks real on the medial side but when u look at the whole plate underneath it does not have that checkered pattern!!!!

8, 10, 11.5, 12, 13 now available on Mental Kicks.

Probably all those that cancelled on here. They're getting cute with the +10.00 for all those pairs so really its $279 + shipping.

I'm just giving those who care a heads up. Proceed with caution.

Hello world! Been holding this back since December (didn't get posting permissions until earlier this week) but I wanted to share some comparison pics of my SoleAwesome pair that I copped early and the pairs I receive from FNL (don't even get me started on that online adventure). Some pretty stark differences, especially for my size 13s and up crew.

So, right off the bat you can see that one of these pairs don't belong...guess which one is courtesy of SoleAwesome...(note the '03 XII Playoffs and '01 XI Breds [not to be confused with the CDPs lol | tossed the rest of my older Js because they were beat to *!++. Definitely regretting that now. SMH.] - no where near DS but still rocked periodically)

Comparison of the plastic inserts. No real differences there aside from the size; I'll leave the detailed RGB analysis to the other forum experts...

Onto the paper...the SoleAwesome paper is definitely not gold but definitely doesn't shimmer compared to the FNL paper

At first glance nothing majorly wrong with the shoe trees (right texture, had the glitter flecks, etc.) but upon further inspection I noticed that the SA trees were smaller than the FNL trees. When I turned them over I noticed that the numbers on the bottom-side of the SA trees were for size 10.5 - 12 while the FNL trees were for 12.5 - 14...

Now...onto the important stuff...the shoes

As for the highly debated toe caps: nothing major here. Definitely a difference in feel (one shoe in the SA pair has a thicker toe cap) and quality but both appear to be relatively opaque...[this pic is only the SoleAwesome pair. I left out the FNL pair as we've all seen those by now]

Perhaps, my 2nd most upsetting thing on the shoe is the alignment of the Jumpman compared to the 23 on the back [and yes the 23 on the back of the SoleAwesome pair is more stretched than the FNL pairs]; the SoleAwesome shoe is on the short box while the FNL shoe is on the taller box...

The carbon fiber on my SA pair are inconsistent between each other let alone compared to the FNL pair [the FNL pair is the same on both shoe and looks really good]; The pair in the pic below are only the SoleAwesome pair to show the difference between right and left. Can you notice the difference? LOL...

Now...the most infuriating part of the SoleAwesome pair is the PL cut [or in the case the PL split]; I'll let the pic speak for itself...

One other thing that can't be photographed is that the SA pair make a noticeable "squeaking" sound when I walk around in them LOL. My FNL pair do not.

Anyways, just a few pics that I thought you all might be interested in checking out. In no way do I think the SA pair are "fake" or that they don't sell "100% authentic" shoes BUT they definitely don't look like FNL's version of "100% authentic". They're B grades at best and I'll likely continue to wear them in certain situations (wash the car, mow the lawn, etc.). Happy I was able to cop a few retail pair though.

Would love to hear everyone's thoughts!
