i honestly like the leaether on my military 4s over my cements 4s the cement 4s are a little hard and have this tough look on them which isnt my favorite at all. If these varsity red come out the same as military i will definitely be copping. we'll just have to see.

these are the best 4's unless you're talking lasers or '99 black cements or thunders, atleast that's my opinion, my job manager is coppin these for me, because i told him a regimen on how to get ripped lol..and dont judge me for my post count, im not a noob, i've actually been on this site quite some time but the thing is i be forgetting my login information so i gotta make new accounts lol

Military IV leather isn't all that bad. Shoes with stiff leather like the White Cements are nice to look at, but they're not all that comfortable. One of the few Jordan shoes left on my list of shoes to cop this year. These, the Black Cement IV's, Charcoal VII's, and Cool Grey IX's then it's a wrap for 2012 for me.

Saw these in person.
The leather is going to crease in one wear. Easy pass. The only IV's I'll buy are the Black Cement IV's. They don't have that paper thin leather.

also seen this earlier and the quality on these are 'subpar' sad but true i just stick with my mars iv good luck to everyone thats grabbing them

I agree with you as well. I liked the leather on the military's than the white cements. So this has me happy about picking them up now.

I expect the quality of the these to be the exact same as the Cements which is fine with me.

Same here. A better midsole paint is nice, no spike is even better! That was the only reason I passed the last time. That logo!

this years IVs have been solid/ no complaints here/ copped both cements and cavs/ and rocked my cements a few times even at disneyland and they didnt crease at all and no paint cracks / the 05 mars creased once I tried them on lol / this will copped 1 maybe 2x depending on funds

Are you guys kidding me? Those paper mâché cement IVs were trash. I ended up selling because of my disappointment with the quality. The Cavs quality was better though.

Leather on these is waaayy better than the wc 4....compared them to my mars and they are very close if that means anything. Not as soft as the military's though.

Thanks man. I'm not so picky about creasing at all. The paint chipping is annoying, so hopefully that won't be an issue.I'm gonna be optimistic and assume they got a bad batch. They still had the Military's so I compared the leather and they both are similarly very soft, unlike the WC 4's. For those who dont know that means these may be bound to crease easily. Aside from some pairs being pre-creased the theyre nice. With the brighter red and sturdier leather I'd say these are better then the Mars 4. They're just a notch better in quality.
How much better are these compared to the Mars??
These can't possibly be worse than the Mars right?
