Lunargrand

Cole Haan is probably just releasing every design they can think of for the LGs ( i mean woven like the one posted above and studded shoes? Cmon,) knowing they wont have the right to them in a few years. Trying to earn all they can while they.

understand it from a business point of view that they would wanna take advantage of the current situation but it just waters down the charm of the lunargrand line by churning out too much of the almost too creative stuff

Disagree fellas - I'll bet the woven is way more comfortable and better made than their pleather lunargrands.

Hi All,

Thanks for all your rply and help.

Just got my shoes delivered.

I bought the chestnut chukka

http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/gettry/item/c12010/?s-id=borderless_recommend_item_en

What I found out:

1) these aren't the same feel as the lunarlons runningshoes. Feels Ok..but much harder. Very vibram like to me. Shoes are quite light, but missed the walking on cloud and pure cushiness in the Lunarlons. Not sure why. better insoles? Or different density or softness. Misses the mark here. Not what I am looking for.

2) I got the wide model. Is not super wide. I think at best EE. Much smaller than ferragammo EEE. Or that of New balance. On the otherhand my lunargrands was a full size smaller than my Nikes lunarglide. From 12 to 11.  Do anyone know if the wingtips are tighter fit than in a chukka?

3) I like its looks and colors. I dont have a shoe like this. So quite happy with it. Works in shorts or khakis or jeans. Design makes it look quite slim looking.

Got some comments already and some friends trying to buy them.

4)Its not from antilope skin sadly, but is waterproof. Anyone knows how it gets the waterproofing? Do i need to waterproof it again with a spray?

Seems quite robust.

Anyway I like the model/design and colour. At the outlet or sales price is great value. I think quite a steal. Solution for resoling. Resole it using the white vibram soles.

Thanks all.

1) I think it may have something to do with the footbed they use. The footbed is a dressier kind where it's slippery while the nike lunar series uses flexible running footbeds.

2) i have both. the lunargrand 7 fits like a lunarglide 8 lengthwise.

I've seen the white/blue saddle oxfords on the site, but have yet to see the other ones.  Any release information on those.

Also, any indication on when the F/W '14 might drop?  Or will it be a surprise like some of these other drops have been?
