Ok guys, sorry for the late update.  Who ya got?  Fed or Murray are my picks on the men's side.  Serena has been a WMD to her opponents all summer but the US Open always gives her problems. I expect Vika, Serena, Kvitova and Sharapova to go far.

Nadal really is an idiot for calling out Federer.  Why should there be less tournements?  Not Only the Top 10 can make money playing tennis for 10 years.  There are players who need tournment to make money.  Doesnt make much sense.  If Federer can play tournement why would he not.

Not really a big deal. Rafa already knows that Roger has never been the type to speak up against the ATP. Federer may have Laver-like numbers, but he is nothing like him in terms of going against the grain with policy.

Anyway interesting situation on the "feud" between the 2. I think the press wants to make this bigger than it really is. But there are different views on this... I think Rafa and a lot of players feel that there are too many mandatory tourneys, which is taking a toll on the players. Then there's also the issue of prizemoney, but that's another story. The thing with Fed is that he's been incredibly lucky/fortunate that he's not had a lot of injuries in his career. Sure, he's been having back-issues, relatively speaking, he's been injury-free.

Anyway, good win for this Tomic guy, but I still don't like him...

^ TBH, I don't think he has it anymore.  His usually-trusty serve isn't what it used to be and that was his strongest weapon.  Too many other contenders in front of him as well... the usual 4 plus Tsonga, Berdych and Ferrer...

I didn't watch the Serena match, but she rocked some Black History Month kicks and accessories.

Upset of the tourney so far.

Strong play by Ryan Harrison in the 1st set, but ultimately wasn't consistent enough to beat Andy.

Not a strong opponent, but Ana played well...

Yeah, hopefully. I try not to get my hopes up with him though. Even when he's "in shape" and on the top of his game he seems to always disappoint.

I respect what Nadal said about Roger because Roger is clearly the MJ of tennis when it comes to only caring about himself. Roger stands for nothing and cares nothing about the plight of his fellow players. Look at this US Open last year when the idiot tournament director tried to send the players to play on wet courts for "TV revenue." It took Nadal, Roddick and others confronting the guy before something was done. Mean while Roger sits on the sidelines waiting for other players to take the scrutiny while he reaps the benefits of their work.
