this guy has his moments, but idk how people are dying over this little guy..

he seems like he just rushes every single joke he tells.

i put him in the same category as dane cook and george lopez.

His Laugh at My Pain standup isn't too funny. But Seriously Funny is hilarious. Check it out on Netflix if you wanna give him another shot.
 
I'll give my real unbiased opinion. I listen to all sorts of stand up comedy for about 30 hours a week (thanks to internet radio). I listen to everyone from Bill Hicks, Pryor, Larry the Cable Guy, Cosby (don't like his style though), Engvall, Martin Lawrence...you get the picture

He's giving us what Chris Rock has already given stand up-hosting-movie wise. Kevin has his moments though. It's not like all comedians ALWAYS tell REAL stories. I'm fine with him. I ain't hating.

I could say my favorite KH stand up stories: one from the club in TX and the one about marriage and the one where his kid was listening to all the dirty talk to his wife

Meanwhile, I still don't get on how the ladies go crazy about Dane Cook when he performs. I know some of the outrageous stuff are funny, but these girls can't hold themselves from yelling/shouting/screaming. Get a grip.

I'd say that Louis CK is the funniest in the stand up game right now..But I personally think KH is hilarious..Dane Cook should be put on an island by himself and left for dead..

I agree..Grown Little Man and Seriously Funny were both funny as hell, but Laugh at My Pain was terrible

Which is really disappointing because I had high hopes for it..Also, there was tons of hype around it, especially by his Twitter followers.


However, in his defense, I think since he got a movie deal offer for that LAMP standup tour, he may have rushed it just to be able to meet the movie deadline. Most comedians can take their time to create material for a standup, but once there is some sort of movie deal involved, time becomes much more of a factor and apparently that negatively affected his material.

Yea Kevin Hart is more "you can relate to" funny, (if that makes any sense). Like you laugh because you can relate to the everyday little stuff that you go through.

And seeing as he is a ****** with a hint of swag its funny as hell
