Ask the Barber

How often do you give a bad haircut?  Do you just pretend it's good until the person notices and reacts negatively?

Why do bad things happen to good people?
why do women say things like "boy bye" when they aren't leaving?

What is the average weekly rate of rent for a booth in the city?
What days are the busiest days for you and how many customers do you usually cut in that day
What is the most and least haircuts you have given in one day?
How many hours do you spend in the barbershop in a normal day?

How much tip do you expect after each cut?

and how do you feel whenever someone doesn't give you a tip? like do you purposely give less effort in cutting their hair the next time around?

How do i tell a barber to shut up and pay attention to what hes doing right now?
How do you tell dude to slow down, when he takes his time the cut is fire other times it can be " ight "
Why are barbers so sensitive ?

Super Cuts type of barbers are just getting out there.
They more than likely just got out of school with hopes that they'll build their clientele there.

Also, they get payed hourly compared to whatever they cut.

I think they get to keep tips though.

When my brother was away at school in Buffalo, he went to super cuts a few times.  We all asked him why because there was no way he was getting any decent type of haircut there.  He said the haircuts he got were terrible and he had to find another cheap place in the mall.

Your barber, nor a fellow barber will not say anything.
Most people don't know what we as barbers know and 90% of the time they don't even know what we did.

Like if we leave a line in their head, or don't fade too well.

Maybe the only thing is a plug that y'all know what it is...

Even then, most people won't say anything and still tip.

Meh, $2-3 if it's just a cut.
Beard Trim or Shave like another $1 or $2.

I mean, a tip if just like saying to us "I appreciate you taking care of me."

My job in my opinion is to make people look good.

Y'all are my walking billboard, and advertisement.

I'ma hit you with all that good products.

Oil Sheen, Gel, Electric Razor, Clubman Products (After Shave, Gel, Talcum Powder), etc...

Not really, I mean it ain't all about tips 'cause we already got our initial money $10 or $12.

You always want to give your best haircuts, no matter what!

You never know who's looking or who's going to ask "Who cut your hair?"

I don't know, usually depends on what you did the shave or beard trim with.
If you go over the same spot with a razor then you're going to agitate the skin which will cause ingrown hairs or razor bumps.

If they did it with the edgers that's more than likely 'cause their blades are too close.

Yeah, like I said they're just getting started.
A lot of 'em come from Beauty Schools too, or are Barbers but weren't ever truly that good.

Mall haircuts are mehhh, if he wants cheap hair cuts he should try finding a Barber College which should offer $5 haircuts.

Tell him to find a guy that likes how he fades, or whatever he gets and go with him.

Don't let them just give you anyone.
