Ed Reed just released awhile ago. I definitely think that's a Wade Philips call, cause Reed had questioned his play calling right after the game :lol: :smh: Man, this season sucks

Travis Johnson was so good at FSU, Capers playing him as a 34 nose didn't help at all.

Ironic MMG posted those 3 guys, 03, 05 & 07 drafts all botched. :smh:
 
I always tell Wu that's the draft that set us back 5 years but he doesn't believe so lol.

I think that's cause I always look at it as drafting Carr, but not giving him a line is what set us back 5 years. So our 1st season was 2007 and I'm sticking to it.
 
It's definitely frustrating to look through these drafts and see what we could have gotten

If go and look back at that 2001 draft wasn't much there, it was either Carr or Harrington cause we weren't taking a defensive player 1st ( Peppers )

Which was dumb reasoning btw.

While not having a solid offensive line didn't help I just thought Carr was a basket case QB with happy feet. Which was something he couldn't overcome. He just wasn't good.
 
Wow can't believe Reed got cut/released. It's always sad when HOFers hang on too long. Luckily nobody will remember how his career ended after a few years.

On a lighter note...

:nerd: :nerd: on the lookout for a deeply discounted Reed jersey. Want a Texans authentic but don't want to pay full price since they aren't my Team

They got some Reed Jerseys in the online store; but not the elites. Might head to the team store in Reliant tommorrow during lunch to see if they are having a fire sale since he got released.

That's just a list of names of guys who will more than likely be gone. I'll miss OD, but his cap hit will be 6 mill. I feel like Tate and Smith can be re-signed for cheap, Smith specificall. I think Tate will be a pretty important signing just cause it'll be a toss up after recovering from surgery. Kareem has an option in his contract and I feel like he's in the long term plans, which is why I don't have him on there. Earl and Sharpton are replaceable, Sharpton more than Earl. JJo hadn't recovered from injuries and I can feel his decline, and Manning will be coming off a second leg injury.
 
As of right now, Elbert Mack and Ryan Griffith are ruled out for Sunday, and Kareem, Mays, and Tarpinian are game time decisions.

Though I'm pissed as far of the team underachieving on a level I've never seen, when we were on that last possession, that was the first time I did not care about the outcome. This bummy *** staff needs to be amnestied.
