Houston Texans Pre-Season 2014 - NT Bowl 2.5...Battle For Roster Spots

Keenum named the start for the SNF game. Glad Kub said that now instead of being indecisive and saying something 3 days before the game. Pretty much been hearing him say "we're evaluating both QBs over the bye" since the last game, but it's looking like he's officially the starter.

Good, Schaub must see the writing on the wall now.

Who wears number 2 for the Texans? They're going to have to give that up

Who are some coaches that could come in here and clean house on the rest of the staff? College first timers? Some vets? Gruden? Lovie Smith? I constantly hear Smith's name thrown around. Idk, i just want same change offensively cause this team is too talented (even with injuries) to be where they are right meow.

I guess that link is broken or something, but who is that, Jason Garrett, Norv Turner or Eric Mangini?

Deji Karim, Dennis Johnson, and Ray Graham (from practice squad) all back with the Texans. Also we signed LB Jeff Tarpinian off the Panthers practice squad, who was also previously on the Pats. There's one more LB that was signed but I missed, will have that later.

Tarpinian is a Houston kid. He grew up in my neighborhood in Richmond. He is a couple years older than me, but we played for the same youth football team, THE Pecan Grove Hurricanes lol

jewbacca jewbacca haha, niiiiice

Now, Keenum is officially officially the starter did Sunday, and Schaub is listed as the backup. Yaaaaaaas!

On the flip side...There's a good chance Dennis Johnson may be the starting running back  I'd prefer Deji Karim just cause he's been in the league longer, but Karim is supposed to be doing KR, so I dont mind. Just have to play error free football, sounds easy :rolleyes

Ben Tate is looking like he'll be the starter, even with broken ribs. Foster is a game time
decision. Deji Karim will more than likely be the KR since Martin isn't fully heeled from his shoulder, plus they need a change anyway.

Schaub is listed as a "healthy backup". Lol

Houston Texans running back Arian Foster will be active for Sunday night’s matchup with the Indianapolis Colts, a source has informed NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport.

Hopefully Foster is at full strength or close to it. Case needs to play even better, and use every one of his assets. Texans could very well win this, and could possibly stay alive for the playoffs, with a lot of help from other teams. If they lose, that's basically the end of the season, and a lot of change may come...but that may actually be for the better. I'd rather end this losing streak and see what happens from there.

Damn...looks like Kubes had a heart attack at halftime...literally! You woulda thought schaab throwing them pick 6's woulda made him ill not being up 18. Seriously though, hope dude is ok.
