I don't even know why they even exist anymore beyond Chucks. That's all they really make anyway. They've done LJs what, twice? And now they're half-assing Weapons. Cons were the #3 basketball shoes of the 90s behind Nike and Reebok and they refuse to retro/protro ANY of them. It's infuriating, and I know it's gotta be Nike's corporate goofs telling them to know their place.

Actually, it is odd they will release the Larry Bird joints. I’m guessing Converse thinks it’s a “safer” colorway to release. It’s a damn shame because I really want my Magic shoes, got my Mitchell & Ness throwback ready

Their reasoning is probably the Larry Bird colorway is altered with the sail and just being black and white to begin with they can pass it.
