OFFICIAL CONVERSE THREAD

[PSA] Nike.com promo codes work on Converse now that their websites have merged. I just added something to my cart and used one of my 20% promo codes and it applied.  Not sure if its old news or not ..
 
I realize it's not a big deal and the two companies have been under the same roof for a long time now, but seeing chuck taylors on Nike's site was a little crazy. I can only hope this means further integration between Converse and Nike, including how retro products are released. Meaning we actually get some retro Converse product that isn't more Chuck Taylors. I'm probably looking too far into this, but it's cool to see regardless.
 
Just went through the thread for some some info on CT 2s...seems like they took off the line around the midsole, that little detail breaks the monotone of the shoe :smh:

This cream color right here is much better than the all white ones. I believe these are called natural white and the pure bleach white ones are called optical white. These classics will be my next shoe purchase, can't go wrong pairing them with some selvedge denim. :pimp:

Speaking of, I just started wearing my navy blue chucks after buying them almost 3 years ago and neglecting them in my closet. :lol:

I wanna get sum CT IIs but the ones I want don't come in half sizes. I'm a TTS 12, I'm wondering if I should get the 12 or go a full down with the 11?

I'm on my fourth Chuck II purchase. Even though they say half size down, I wouldn't recommend it. Before Converse switched to Nike.com, the Futura Skyfall Chuck II was listed as TTS. I go 10.5 on standard Chucks and 11 (which is my true size) for the Chuck II.

I didn't even know thus thread existed. I've been wanting some CT IIs for a couple of months but don't want to pay 80. I'll check on this thread for another deal down the line.
 
My cousin is having a Chuck Taylor-themed birthday party in a couple of weeks. I'm not really into Chuck Taylors and can't decide what to go with. What do you guys recommend? I was kinda thinking the elephant print but don't know if that would be too much.

Majority will prob rock the classics black,navy,white. I got couple pairs, I moved on to the chuck 2. Still classic looking but more comfortable. So question for you. do you plan on rocking these for just the party? or
Good amount of wears. Id stick with something that can be worn with anything. Elephant print will def stand out But just my opinion.

Just for the party but I plan on wearing then again.
