Late pass. Friday Night Lights is one of the best shows

probably my favorite show of all time

and is the second season the one in which landry murked some dude? if so, that was by far the worst season and the biggest waste of episodes

Even the creator/writers have said they regret the direction they went with Landry and Tyra in season 2. The writer's strike played a big factor, but still.

The show did a fantastic job of transitioning from the old cast/players to a new one. I was very cautious but they pulled it off wonderfully. Coach Taylor is one of the best characters in TV history. It's unfortunate the show was hard to market, because it was really one of the best of the last decade. I can't say enough great things about it, I feel like re-watching the series right now.

I feel without the story line of season 2, the show wouldnt have had a chance to go much farther. With coach Taylor leaving and Jason street staying and being a coach to the relationships of Landry / Tyra and tim / lyla, I think it made the show much more interesting to the general public who thought of the show as a football game every episode. It kept me hooked and anxious to see the next season(s), compared to the first season leaving me a little confused as to how the show might end up. The second season got me personally hooked to watching every single episode, hence why it's my favorite. It added depth and allowed the show to take many different turns.
 
Really got engaged in the show, but I'm stuck on season 4. I was enthralled with the first 3 seasons, but I haven't watched an episode in a few weeks. The pace definitely slowed and it's much harder for me to get into season 4. I'll finish eventually though.

Clear Eyes Full Hearts Can't Lose!!!! One of the best shows I haver ever seen. It's right up there with The Wire for me. Coach Taylor was the man!!

I'm on season 4 right now. It's a GREAT SHOW. I hated Riggins at first, but he's such a good character.
 
never connected with characters as much as I did with this show... 

the casting was damn near flawless and it's written to perfection.

Great show. 3 episodes into season 3.
Really upset that season 2 got cut short. Like what happened to Lyla's bf :lol:
Sucks tuning into season 3 and seeing that Smash was injured :frown:

As good as writing is with this show a lot of things from season one went unexplained :lol:

No doubt. Dude's a fantastic actor. Was happy to see him starring in Fruitvale Station and was hoping he'd get more roles. Haven't heard much from him recently.
 
Jesus. I just binge watched 22 episodes of season 1 and 5 episodes of season 2

I had to pause Netlfix and post about it once I heard the Decemberists reference. WTF? Who and what does this show think it is? Such cheesy but good writing and excellently shot. BUT A REFERENCE TO THE DECEMBERISTS?? Lord take me now if I would have been watching this during my high school days who knows what it would have inspired me to do trouble wise

What are they gonna do next reference The Weeknd and The Trilogy?
