James River Might be dropping this year as well

Wonder why he picked Europe instead of the states to try out his new material? Feel Like Makin' Love came on earlier today & I was jammin'. Can't wait till his new release drops. Hope it's not like Dre's Detox...

Questlove did say D was putting the finishing touches on his album earlier this month, but no word of a release date yet. He's tempermental enough to suddenly want to redo everything though...

Just checked OkayPlayer.com & found they had a post about D's tour in Europe. Link is here. Looks like they'll do a tour diary...

Played Voodoo for about a week straight during my work commute not too long ago, and was thinking about how epic of a fall off this dude had.

Glad he's back!!

I was just thinking about the homie. Hopefully if/when his album comes out it's as amazing as the first two.

The Village Voice had fan vids of two of D's new songs that made thier debut in Stockholm. This one's called The Charade.

This one's called Sugar Daddy. Bout time we had some good music on NT. I'll say it again, tired of this step & fetch it stuff dudes be posting in the music section...OkayPlayer also updated with Day 3 of the tour diary link here.

My wife's cousin just told me she'd never heard this gem off of the Space Jam soundtrack...Really!?!?? Posting just in case NT fam hadn't heard this either...

One of the greatest musicians to come out of the 20th century most people haven't even heard of (outside of the Broadway play), Fela Kuti. This came from a tribute album featuring Femi (Fela's son), Macy Gray, Roy Hargrove, D'Angelo, The Soultronics, & the great Nile Rodgers...What chu all know 'bout this?!?

Geeked over the possibility of a new D'Angelo album. Need something new quickly though.
