AIR JORDAN 4 Black/Cement/Grey BLACK FRIDAY via COUNTERKICKS 03/08/12

How does a FedEx customs fee look?
I may be the first to report getting hit with customs fee from SH on the Bred IVs for one pair...:smh:
There's a slim in my package titled "COMMERCIAL INVOICE"
Had one pair from SH shipped Monday without it, but one pair today with it.
It says 65.00 so rather SH lies about the value or I got charged a $65 fee?

Think they lie about the value... Got that same invoice.

In 24 hours I sold both pairs of my size 10 and picked up two pairs of 10.5. Took a $40 hit but at least I got my correct size. Now time to chill and prep for the BRED XI.

Congrats to those that cop on the restock. It looks like I was in a meeting at work when they dropped so I couldn't get them anyways. I was hoping for a second pair of 10.5 but I am content with my one pair. I had two pairs of 10.5 but sold one to my buddy at retail because he missed out.

Anybody else's tracking number from finishline not updating? Getting a little worried here.

This package is in the mail at least.  At this point FNL can't tell you they are out of shoes and your order is canceled.  USPS/FedEx/UPS can't scan the package in until the package is there.  I order a lot of things that get mailed to the house and the "days left" countdown is almost aways accurate in a case like yours.  I don't know what caused it to not get scanned at the next place, but it will most likely get there in 1 more day.   In my experience at least.  Hopefully in your case as well.  Getting the shoes out of FNL's hands is the difficult part

At least yours was scanned. My tracking details are non existent. I have a tracking number, but all it says is that a label has been created.

^^^Yeah that still probably hasn't been picked up from FNL.

I have a JJ order coming tomorrow too HdBk.  They take forever to shiphere from NJ, ridiculous that 3 days can't get it to you in NYC.

I have to disagree with you on the white cement 3's and true blue statement. I doubled up on both of them and I'm glad. Its going to be a long time till they release the TB3 again. It also depends on how much you wear them. My white cements 3 are probably worn more frequently than any other pair of my J's.
I also think black is better, that is why I haven't bought any white J's since the 3's.
Yeah, i think if anything, the maintenance is prolly why i'm repulsed to wear them.

I'm the kind of guy who scrubs the hell out of his shoes after each wear; the whiter

and lighter the shoes; the more work i have cut out for me when i get home.

Funny, cuz i'm 30 and still just as OCD about my kicks as i was in collegio (some

old habits die hard).

As for the White cement III's... as much as i'd love to give those more burn, i can't

because the white sock liner just screams "Brown me up, Scotty!" - it doesn't bode

well with my cleanliness, knowing the stainage would be inevitable. I'd let go of them

before i see myself wearing them again (But right now, they're just gym shoes because

the fitness center has clean floors and i only lift weights, nothing strenuous on the cankles).

The aforementioned is why i wasn't in fret mode extreme when i missed out on the w/c IV's.

Any who, UN DS'd the black/red iv's tonight at the gym and the whole qualm/dispute about

the sizing will dissipate once you wear them for a bit.

Altho these are a tad more snuggified than the white/fire red's from August, they'll acclimate

to your feet after a few moments.

Btw, comfort wise Black Red IV >>>>>> Black Cement III (and the raptors eating both of

these up easily, i wear those out every weekend for dates/lounges/bars/movies/dining/modeling

for the mirror, etc. and prefer the VII's over most of my shoes. You should see how beat my

Bordeaux's are).

Should have doubled up on the Raps (DMP's don't really count ).

.

Here is a little video showing you what I got from Sole Heaven. (Same pair that I have pix of 3/4 of the way down page 247). Kinda wanted to show overall quality, compare to the cavs, and to show how SoleHeaven's shipping methods are. My first time buying from a Euro site so I was anxious to see what I got. I recommend watching both this and the next video below in HD...atleast 720...because I filmed with my cell phone so the video quality isn't the best and you'll need to see it in HD to see anything I'm talking about.

Here is another video bringing up some interesting differences between this and other 4s from this year..including the whole sizing issue. Hear I provide actual proof that these run bigger than both the cavs 4s and the military 4s. Sizing comparison starts at about 1:00

your breds are a euro pair though right? that might have something to do with the sizing
idk just sayin

um....i'm not really what you're getting at. Why would it matter where they came from? It's a U.S. size 9. All the shoes are made in China. What does Europe have to do with any of this?

lol nothing i was just saying that it could be a little different since its a euro pair
was just a thought

Alright, my FNL pair came today, so for spOOfy and anyone else interested in some comparisons pics with an early release pair here you go - lemme know if you got any questions or whatever, but it actually turned out to be pretty uninteresting, which is a good thing.

I got my early release pair in late October from Sol3society. Shoes came straight from China. i posted a lot of pictures and a lengthy examination of the quality way back then, so Im not gonna go into all the details, just the minor differences I guess. (but there really werent any)

First up, the boxes. This was actually the only place with a real difference. The MSRP sticker on the side had slight difference in the exact layout. Probably means nothing but I thought Id post it up. SS box on top

Heres the two pairs together. Sol3society in front. Shape is basically identical to my eyes. FNL actually came with a very small scuff. Ive been wearing my SS pair a lot so you can see that the nubuck has been holding up pretty well
http://niketalk.com/content/type/61/id/149331/width/500/height/1000[/IM]

Close up of SS. The ashiness is more from wearing them around, not how they looked brand new
http://niketalk.com/content/type/61/id/149332/width/500/height/1000[/IM]

Close up of FNL. Cleaner, but quality of the nubuck is identical to the touch. You can also see slight variations in the angle of the stitching, up by the netting. Its actually superior on the SS pair above
http://niketalk.com/content/type/61/id/149333/width/500/height/1000[/IM]

FNL on right. Size of heel cut is the same, cant see it here but there has been no sign of cracking paint on the SS. Also the black paint on the midsole of the FNL was a little thin, and you could see a small lighter colored streak about a half inch long
http://niketalk.com/content/type/61/id/149334/width/500/height/1000[/IM]

Together, FNL in front

The production dates were interesting though.
On my SS pair the dates were 6/13-6/28, on my FNL the dates for the Right shoe were 5/9-6/22 and the Left shoe was 5/9-6/20
So ironically, my early release pair from SS was actually made later than the release day FNL pair. Go figure

I cant speak for everybody, but it seems like early release buyers avoided any kind of air randy fiasco this time around. In general, this release seems to have been done to a reasonably high level by JB standards. Im very pleased with both my pairs
Good looking out. Repped for your troubles. I guess it is a hit or miss with these early release pairs.

Fortunately for you, you got a good pair.

I got GOT on my concords from last Christmas on an early release site. I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference had I not obtained a release date pair.
