If you're giving up 4s and 11s, in my opinion it's worth it. Because I would never give up my Banned 1s for anything, and the 4s you can get right now for around $230 or even less from some resellers, the bred 11s I'm assuming you're talking about early 2012s.

To me it boils down to the fact that the 4s and 11s are more accessible at this point, and right now nobody seems to want to get rid of their Banned 1s.
 

...and on that note, (off topic, but) does anybody know somebody in San Diego that wants to trade their Banned 1s size 9.5, for my size 10? I'm usually more comfortable in size 10s when it comes to 1s, but now a days 9.5s are feeling good.

maybe the driver wanted some J's at your expense. I'd have the UPS CSR make SURE to get in contact with the driver cause the tracking should say something to the likes of "being delivered" and NOT "Delivered" if the package is not at your place. OR some youngsta jacked you before you opened the door to get them.
 
I'm just piss that my shoes aren't in my hands right now, and I don't want to justify paying 200 to 250 for some shoes.

I agree. There are still some floating around, in the smaller markets of course. The whole RSVP thing was more of an image ordeal than a means of ending the whole hype thing. People are still camping. And next year, the amount of shoes will be increased to help levitate the inability of some to get access to the shoes. But remember, whatever costs Nike more will cost us more. They will just pass the extra expense on to the consumer.
 
FYI...I just got shipping confirmation from FNL. I ordered to 2 pairs on RD and did express shipping, but never got shipping info or charged from my paypal. I assumed the order was canceled, but just now I called up FNL and they were shipping from a store next day. I had them refund the $48 express shipping fee because they were supposed to be sent last Friday.

Weird thing is my PayPal shows the charge still pending. Did I just get 2 free pairs? I doubt it, but anything is possible with FNL.

Worst part about all of this is they are the wrong size. FNL is a mess :smh:
 
My Eastbay pair just got delivered here at work... There's a huge glue stain on the right shoe!!! I'll be contacting Eastbay about this... Not happy at all!

I SCOOPED UP MY INITIAL PAIR VIA PHONE ORDER FROM MY 'LIL SECRET MOM N' POP SPOT NEAR WHERE I WENT TO COLLEGE BACK IN THE DAY. I KEPT A SOLID RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM OVER THE YEARS, SO THEY'LL HOLD WHATEVER RELEASE I WANT. DIDN'T FEEL LIKE GETTIN' OUT IN THAT BLACK FRIDAY CROWD,LOL! I SCOOPED MY 2ND PAIR FROM CHAMPS IN WILLOWBROOK MALL THAT MONDAY,THOUGH. HOLLA...

That's a great comparison that will have some youngins looking at those "accessories" a little different now.
 
I'm born and raised in L.A. And I know how much regional variances occur in shoe wearing styles. I was around when the original shoes dropped. However...I never once saw anyone wear their 4s with the tongue folded down. I'll even go as far as to say I doubt it's even possible. Hangtags...I maybe saw a couple times, but it wasn't something that happened a lot. I will say that I saw some dude recently with his XII tags on his playoffs this year. That was hilarious.

YO HOMIE, SORRY TO HEAR THAT,BRO. ONE OF THE PROBLEMS WITH UPS IS THAT THEY HIRE TEMPORARY "HELPERS" DURING THE HOLIDAYS, GENERALLY YOUNG CATS TRYIN' TO SCOOP UP SOME EXTRA DOLLARS DURING THE XMAS BREAK. BUT SOME OF THEM ARE KINDA SHADY AND WILL STEAL YOUR PACKAGE, ESPECIALLY IF IT HAS A SHOE STORE ON THE PACKAGING. MY BEST FRIEND HAD THE SAME THING HAPPEN TO HIM WITH THE CONCORDS LAST YEAR. HIS KEPT SAYING "OUT FOR DELIVERY" FOR LIKE 2 DAYS,BUT IT NEVER ARRIVED. AFTER HE CALLED UPS AND THEY LAUNCHED AN INVESTIGATION, THEY FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS THE DRIVER "HELPER" THAT STOLE THE PACKAGE.

WHAT HAPPENS IS DURING THE DELIVERY RUN, THE DRIVER WILL DROP THE "HELPER" OFF ON A CERTAIN BLOCK IN A GOLF CART WITH A SMALL TRAILER IN THE BACK OF IT WITH ALL OF THE PACKAGES TO BE DELIVERED ON THAT BLOCK, THEN PICKS THEM UP ABOUT 20-30 MINUTES LATER. WELL, MY BOY ORDERED HIS FROM EASTBAY(BEFORE THEY DOUBLE BOXED THEIR PACKAGES,AND JUST PUT THEM IN A PLASTIC BAG.) SO THE "HELPER" PROBABLY COULD TELL THAT THEY WERE SHOES BASED ON THE SHAPE OF THE PACKAGE AND THE EASTBAY INFO ON THE PACKAGING,AND ASSUMED THEY WERE THE CONCORDS BASED ON THE TIMING AS WELL ( A FEW DAYS AFTER THE CONCORDS RELEASED.) SO HE PROBABLY HID THEM SOMEWHERE HE COULD REMEMBER, MARKED THEM AS DLEIVERED, THEN GOT BACK ON THE UPS TRUCK WITH THE DRIVER, AND CAME BACK AND PICKED THEM UP LATER.

SO FELLAS, BE AWARE OF ORDERING THRU UPS DURING THE HOLIDAYS.... THOSE "HELPERS" ARE LURKERS FOR REAL,LOL! AND SINCE THEY'RE ONLY EMPLOYED FOR A FEW WEEKS, MOST OF 'EM QUIT AFTER THEY HIT THAT KIND OF LICK. SAD WHAT PEOPLE WILL DO FOR SOME DAMN SHOES THESE DAYS :smh: ...HOLLA!
