Whats the deal with wrestling???

All these wrestling related threads lately???

You guys do know it fake right???

and the acting is FAR below par right???

Where does the excitment and entertainment happen for you guys??

Does this count as a sport? Honestly Id probably watch NASCAR before watching (whos a current wrestler? Is the Rock still popular??)

I dont like comparing it to ufc cause there nothing alike but for this i will.......its like watching ufc but because of the two people fighting because of money....the two guys in wrestling fight because one guy buried the other guys brother alive, yea i know its scripted but its entertaining

It's pretty much one of the oldest forms of reality TV or a soap for males, essentially.

If you get off on watching stuff like Jersey Shore, Real World, or any show on VH1, you might as well be watching wrestling. And trust, 90% of wrestling fans KNOW it is staged. Hence, the wrestling thread where everyone talks about upcoming story lines and results.

And yes, it is still insanely popular. WWE packs stadiums multiple times a week.
 
Anything past 2005 I feel you. Has its moments here and there, but it's the same anymore.
