Other Brand Kicks you would love to see retro the right way....

These Magics.... I wanted a pair soooo bad in 7th grade but it was a no go, mom wouldn't spend that kind of money on a pair of kicks for me.  scooped an unwearable pair on ebay a few years ago and it was nice to just hold them and look at them but had to sell em.  Sole was crumbling in DS condition.

Reebok Rafter

LOVED this shoe but they retroed them in LEATHER!!!  WTH, these were nubucks as OG's.  Never got this black/white colorway but scooped the black/brown pair on sale at Marshalls back in the day.  Need these!

Fila Grant Hill.  Yes, they've been retroed but never quite right.  Shape all off, cheap leather... anytime they re-release these they look like some Nike retros.  Still remember these from the Method Man "All I Need" video.

Adidas Streetballs.  I wanted these so much more than the ones that they retroed.  Cmon Adidas make it happen.

og color puma discs, white and black reebok workout mid with gum soles, new balance 1600, 1001 and adidas pro model in black with white stripes. all of course remade in the correct shape and materials.

Never like Magics. They looked cheap. When they dropped, I quickly associated them with BKs, LA Gear, and TROOP. Basically shoe brands that had no real technology behind them. Anyone at my school who rocked Magics were always defending themselves against heads snappin on 'em.

When I first saw these, I thought they were a woman's shoe or a wrestling boot. Can't say they're worth bringing back.

I've never been down with Fila. Most of their joints (including these) looks like Swap Meet Exclusives.

Word to these. Adidas was making a serious effort back in the 90s to show that they were serious about basketball shoes. Except for your next choice...

These are down there with the Fila basketball joints. Straight Po' Boys. Mutumbos were like a high end version of the EWINGS. The colorway was too much (even for the afrocentric 90s) and the styling was just wack. When I saw Raekwon rocking Mutumbos on the 36 Chambers insert, I thought; "Damn, these dudes are on some real low budget stuff". The commercial was wack too; "MAN NO FLY OVER MUTUMBO!" NONSENSE!   
 
Id take a pair of those Magics up there... I had a black pair when they dropped.


Fila runballs would be nice too.
 
I had the white/green joints back in the day. Still have them somewhere in decent condition as I only used them for indoorball. I would love to find a pair in my adult size, the pair I have is 2.5 sizes too small.

Maybe those Olympic Grant Hill Filas with the gold flake, I wanted those too bad back then

I would LOVE to see some Converse Rodman shoes ... and Converse Kevin Johnson shoes with liquid/floating cushioning.
 
Dream is fulfilled for the shaqs, swizz confirmed release next year

I feel like Adidas would pick up on the Mutumbo's. Seems like a style they'd try to spin as a retro lifestyle kinda thing these days.
