Class action lawsuite against Nike "Zoom Kobe 7"

Thread Starter
Hey Sneaker friends,

hows everyone doing?
I am not that great ever since i have worn Kobes new "Zoom 7" sneakers.
I used them last Monday for 1 1/2 hours and the midsole cut both of me feet really deep, it hurts so badly, that ever since that happened i am not able to wear a shoe and leave my house for 4 straight days now.
I think the Zoom Kobe 7 sneakers are a big joke and dangerous! Not that i just spent 130gbp on them, they also injured my feet!
I am working for a big newspaper in London and i am really considering taking actions against Nike.
If anyone else had the same problems or simular issues with the Zoom Kobe 7 please post and share your experiences!
Best regards

Philipp

Will have to have more support from others in regard to this. What Nike might do is recall it, if its deemed dangerous

While I've heard people sharing their stories, I don't know what kind of support this will get here. Can't wait to see though laugh.gif

Class action would be taking it from 0 to 100. Maybe a simple call to Nike followed by not buying anymore xmas7s would suffice?
So it has given you blisters I assume. You are not the only one that has it happen to them. It has not happen to me. The ZK7 is not for everyone I guess. Nothing will happen with the lawsuit, it'll be free advertisement for Nike. Take the loss and just don't wear/buy them anymore.

I agree. A lawsuit is going overboard. Just my honest opinion.

maybe there was a typo when you typed lawsuit but since you did it twice i think you really believe the word is spelled like that

man nike would eat you alive if it came to bring this type of thing to court. I don't think you should jump that far ahead yet. Just give them a call and see what they say.

I empathize with your frustration, but realistically...

Even attempting to file a lawsuit over this would be a complete waste of money...

Take the voucher and move on.

Nike didn't make you play basketball in them.

You'd waste so much money in lawyer fees and Nike would destroy you
post #22 of 55
I've heard of people getting blisters, but deep cuts? How do you keep playing knowing you're getting deep "wounds" though?

Not saying that you're lying, but damn. If a shoe did that to me I would stop wearing it right away.

Have you tried using double socks/tape? I'm guessing the Pro's don't have problems with them since they wear so much tape on their ankles/foot as well as thick socks.

Pics of your feet?
Lol he has pic on his account lmfao...... Dude peoples feet are all different. Get some foams if you want material that molds to your feet. There is no perfect shoe lol. Some people wear Space Jams and there pinky toe rubs on the side and makes a blister. Other people wear the same shoes and it's fine. Hmmmm let's think about this same shape of the shoe but different outcomes with people. People have different shaped feet!!!!! So maybe just maybe people with similar feet are the ones getting blisters from the Kobes. And others think the Kobes are just fine..... But, a law suit. Some people can't even get away with a lawsuit against a company going downhill like SEARS, what makes you think your going to get away with a multi Billion dollar company that probably has over 30 lawyers and is actually going uphill lol.....dumbest post since I've been on NT......
