8-3, you can put it that way and it looks nice.
or you can go
2004 - 0 wins
2005 - 0 wins
2006 - 0 wins
2007 - 4 wins
2008 - 0 wins
2009 - 0 wins
2010 - 0 wins
2011 - 4 wins
This is on average one win per year.
Not a juggernaut. Good in 2007 playoff? Yes. 2011 playoffs? Yes.  Juggernaut? No.

LOL i bad, I was caught up in the hype earlier. Ofcourse Eli winning 2-3 more rings are HIGHLY HIGHLY rare but when you look at their roster and and the fact that their built to win now is great. Youth all over the field AND they get back their full defense next season.

Although I wouldn't be surprised if they miss out on the playoffs next couple seasons.

damn this is terrible ...

ny ... appreciate BIG GAME ELI ... it's hard to win a bowl ... eli maybe has 1 more in him ...

The nfc is stacked ... GreenBay, 49ers, Saints, Lions, Bears, Eagles just to name a few are teams that can compete for the next 3 years provided everyone is healthy. with free agency and the draft teams can turn around quickly. pump the brakes

and this is coming from an eli supporter...

Lets just disregard how clutch Eli was when the defense was stinking up the place and he had to pull wins out of his rear end for the entire season.
and ksteezy, Manningham will be gone this off-season, some team will pay him as if he is a #1 receiver when he is not.

Do you know how #1 WRs get paid in this league? No way in hell does Manningham get that. He'll get a nice salary bump though.

I bELIeve Eli has 2-3 more in him but that's not really the hurdle. It's if the entire team has 2-3 left in them. So lets say Eli has 6-7 more years in him until he retires, it's extremely rare it'll happen unless we keep this core intact and immediately do it starting next season.

What does this have to do with Eli and/or the Giants? Dallas is not and should not be a part of this discussion.....

But okay lets play pull a team from someone sig and talk about their playoff success
Its been what, almost 4000 days since the Knicks last won a playoff game?

How is saying Eli isn't quite a HOF lock yet and the Giants aren't a juggernaut 'hate'? Unless I'm incorrect on the definition

Yeah the people who don't think Eli is gonna finish his career with 5 rings are just haters...

I think Eli's well on his way to the Hall but this thread right now....

maybe you guys are confusing juggernaut and dynasty lulz. any team that can win every road game in the playoffs against teams that won their natural division is a juggernaut to me. i never said eli would win 5 rings but i dont count him out,ill let time tell.

Who looks at it in that manner especially when the team was not good enough for the playoffs during some of those seasons?.....and the team was rebuilding first few seasons with a new QB.

Road record is unbelievable in the post season, 15 TD and 2 INT during both Superbowl runs.

I don't think some of you guys knows what it takes to be an NFL Hall of Famer, this isn't baseball.

Only other QB not in the HOF while winning 2 or more SBs is Jim Plunkett and that's mostly due to injury. I don't think Eli has ever missed a game, so Eli is a lock.

Did you read the post it was in regards to? Or even the line I put after the wins per year?
They were good, actually great, during those two runs, but to say they are a juggernaut over these last several years with Eli is laughable.

Correct they weren't good enough for the playoffs for some of those seasons, but in both their superbowl season they just barely got in.
Road record is unbelievable yes, but the fact that they were on the road in the first place also implies that they weren't that great during the season. But then yes, absolute great in those two post season.
Giants don't have a 50/50 shot of making the playoffs this coming up year? If not then what 60/40?  This is a juggernaut?

I already put my opinion on Eli making the HoF. That post was just in response to the Giants all of a sudden now being an unstoppable unmovable force.

But I agree with you on this thread turning into absolute garbage. Although in general the thread was garbage from the start. It was lets put out a statement to cause controversey and argument for fun. I don't see a Tom Brady/Drew Brees/Peyton will make the HoF threads. Or even for other sports like a Kobe/Dirk/Lebron HoF thread. Its all pointless to bother discuss now. This thread is as useless as the "if if if and if then Rodgers is GOAT" thread.

Because the NFC East still has a talented Eagles & Cowboys squad & the entire NFC as a whole. NFC has never been stronger IMO.

This was interesting though:
Stats of the Super Bowl No. 1:
In the postseason, the Giants finished 3-0 on the road. All other teams finished 0-9 on the road. Noted by reader Jeffrey Lamarque of Los Angeles.

Eli is a beast on the road

31 is old now?...Sit down...Eli still has at least 5 solid years and finally with weapons to compliment him, we have yet to see him at his greatest...let's wait on to next season to see where you nonbelievers will be...would be hilarious if the Giants achieve back to back titles....wonder what reason you dudes would pull out your %$% then...

What blows my mind is that dudes are more comfortable saying Rodgers is a HOFer and not Eli...cray...

I do agree the NFC is nothing to +%$! with, the competition is crazy....reason why the AFC hasn't won a title in some time.....out of the top 4 active QBs 3 are in the NFC....and on any day any b grade NFC QB >>>>> most QBs in the AFC...

After reading through 15 pages of this thread, I have come to the following conclusion:

If a Quarterback wins 2 Superbowls, he is a Hall of Famer regardless of everything else.

I mean, thats essentially what people the people who are advocating Eli being a HOFer already are saying right?

Juggernaut is just a poor choice of words, but when they do win that one playoff game they sure can finish.

Close

If you win 2 Super Bowls, 2 SB MVP's, 2 game winning drives in the 4th quarter of those SB's, win more road playoff games than any other QB thru history to this point, throw for 4,900 yards in a season and nobody claims you were top 5 that year, and have a chance to realistically finish with 40,000+ yards and maybe in the neighborhood of 300 or so touchdowns, in a historically difficult divsion, with wins over Favre on the road, Rodgers on the road, Romo on the road, and the 9ers defense on the road, and multiple wins vs Brady/Belichick in those same SB's, yeah, I'm ok with thinkin he has a legit shot at some HOF love.  Sure, why not?

Eli isn't exactly Dilfering it out there ya know.
