Nike Air-Max Deluxe Retro ?

This has to be one of my all time favorite shoes. I know I cant be the only one who feels this way

Nike, please re-release this shoe.

IMO this was one of those shoes that looks kinda strange on the wall but great on the feet.

All of the colorways of this model were nice..
I wouldnt mind a retro because these are tough to find..

if they do come out...those are a must have for me...I missed out on all the AM deluxe when they came out in 99-00...any colorway and they're mine...

The OG drop cw was like a metallic bug iridescent green/gold, IIRC... The commercial / print ad campaign was linked to Kenyan runners...

This model & CW have to retro along with the AM98 in the Michigan cw... Do it Nike. Accurately, though.

I'm waiting for the AM 98 in the Michigan CW to come out...I'm not gonna hold my breath tho...
I remember walking into Transit in Soho years back when I was a sophomore in Baruch I saw these AM Deluxe-like joints...metallic silver color way, red swoosh, AM 97 air unit...no laces with some strap like thing that held but a tab or bottom...I was a 10.5 trying to squeeze in a 10...those are the Nikes I want to see...sick of seeing 90s and 95s in every imaginable colorway and the re-re-re-re-retro of the AM 90/95 HOA retro...Nike needs to retro some of the unconventional AM's that came out in between the more familiar AM's...

Daaamn bring back maaad memories with these shoes. I had these back in 7th grade. My early sneakerhead days lol. Def copping a pair if these were released.

The blue/oranges and the grey/greens can be found.

I have fond memories of these, most of which are related to a Spring Break episode South Beach back in '99 or '00 or whatever year these came out.. I could mess with a retro, but it's not at the top of my list.

Seems I may have shot myself in the foot with this thread, seeing as I check ebay myself for these on the reg.

Black/varsity red/cool grey.

I still have a pair of these, although the Air-Sole has popped.

If I remember correctly that colorway was a Foot Action exclusive.

There was also a black/black/silver version with clear soles that was part of a "pack" released exclusively at Finish Line. It was one of the only pairs not to have a "tye dye" upper and was the only Deluxe I remember selling very well. I still have the Tuned Max Tailwinds from the FNL black/clear pack somewhere. The Deluxes from this pack are truly one of my "grails".

Yup it was a fa exclusive....I remember I was gonna cop the blk/red penny 4's instead of these but they didn't have my size so I ended up gettin the deluxe instead

ive got the blue orange and green black colorways, but theyre both beat!
theres a plush layer of cushioning underneath the insole that makes these easily the most comfortable shoes i own. havent seen that layer on any other shoes

if they do get retroed, i hope they dont skimp on the quality

My all time favorite shoe. Had the black-red-grey back in the day. I now have a FNL exclusive colorway that I hadn't seen before I bought them (used) back in '05. They're beyond beat at this point... but I'll post pictures on here when I get a chance. I like all the colorways except for the solid colors without the designs. Nike needs to retro the og colors and I know they could make some new colors that would be

@dankenstien88 - I got my pair of the colorway pictured above off of Eastbay back in the day. As for the black/black/silver version you're referring to, I don't particularly care for them. The "tye dye" design is what makes me like the shoes so much. This pair on ebay has been there for a few weeks.. nobodys biting at that price. I would almost consider droppin that much if it was a better colorway.

Mine are falling apart, airbags are soft & heels need a glue-ing...I need every colorway that they re-release. Really regret not buying more with my discount when they were $50 at my finish line.
