Once Max Payne 3 comes out (May 15th) I think R* will get the GTA V hype train rolling.

We may get a trailer before then.

Slowly hints are starting to drop.

They released this pre viral tease site that was used to drop hints to start the promo for GTA: San Andreas and now they are using it for GTA V

The game has zero chance of coming out this year and we are looking at probably at the earliest a March 2013 release or at the latest May 2013 release.

Also be on the lookout for Gameinformer. They are going to reveal their new cover tomorrow and it might finally be a GTA V World Exclusive.

Just remember that R* only releases one major game a year and they already have released Max Payne 3 this year.

Also I listened to Take 2's investor conference call yesterday and after that they lowered their expected stock profits and are expecting their stocks to rise in the 1st fiscal quarter of 2013.Yet another reason why Spring 2013 is looking more like a realistic release window for GTA V.

I don't think we are going to get a new trailer until around October or November which will finally announce the release date. Reason being is that R* is still promoting Max Payne 3's DLC packs.

Also before anyone asks. This game has no chance at being a next gen console release title game for XBOX 720 & PS4 :lol:

Yeah a lot of people on here and other forums feel that way for obvious reasons.

Even though GTA IV got a ton of perfect 10 score from nearly every major gaming website & magazine. Once people got their hands on it and popped it into their XBOX 360 & PS3 the game was just to dark and really lost it's appeal where people were left saying "This game didn't deserve perfect 10 scores". Me personally I'd rate GTA IV at best a 8.0. The game just was nowhere as fun as the PS2 era GTA games.That's probably the main reason why R* is taking us back to Los Santos and is taking them damn over 5 years to release the game.

They're doing good taking us back. That was one of the best damn games ever. Not because of the story line or the missions or the characters, but because of the freedom the game gave us and all of the new things it brought. We were able to be something that we would never be in real life. A true G! Haha joke.

I like GTA San Andreas but honestly GTA Vice City is still my favorite GTA game out of all of them.

GTA Vice City's era where the game is set, game soundtrack, the tribute & homage to Scarface, Tommy Vercetti >> over GTA San Andreas IMHO

Also people really hyped for this game should not expect a complete remake of GTA San Andreas in GTA V. I think at first GTA V will have LA, Socal, maybe San Diego, and Catalina Island, and the mountains like Big Bear.But I don't expect the fake SF (San Fierro) and fake Las Vegas (Las Venturra's) to be in the main game.R* might decide to release them as DLC add on packs like what they did with GTA IV episodes from Liberty City.
