Still haven't heard from a few notables...Jan 15th is the cutoff.

He NEEDS to be a Cleveland Brown next year...

Darren McFadden - RB, Arkansas (although he's as good as gone IMO)
Jonathan Stewart - RB, Oregon
DeSean Jackson - WR, Cal
Mario Manningham - WR, Michigan
Pat White - QB, West Virginia
Steve Slaton - RB, West Virginia
i think they're all pretty much gone. Stewart is the only one i could see sticking around to give it another go round, maybe Manningham, but i doubt he'll stick around with the coaching change.

EDIT: i had no idea Stewart had 250+ in their bowl game, so yeah, he's definitely gone

Can't see White or Slaton staying. McFadden and Stewart should be gone too, given they're both gonna be in the 1st round in all likelihood. And DeSeanhas actually stated he MIGHT stay with Cal, since he likes Kevin Riley, our new QB who replaced Longshore. I think it's more 75/25 in his case (75% chanceof leaving), but I can see how he'd wanna stay, so that maybe he can get some redemption for his crap season this year with a very capable QB. But thenagain, this year's WR class is weak so he's probably gone.

pat white and steve slaton better be staying for their senior years..

slaton just needs to re-build his draft stock after having a subpar year and white has position change written all over him if he declares. granted, a new headcoach will probably impact their decisions, but i still think it would be wise for both of them to stay for their senior year.

everyone else on that list would be wise to declare. they could take advantage of the weak senior class that's coming into the upcoming draft.

kenny phillips, ryan clady, and jamaal charles have all declared.

i think rey maualuga has already stated that he's staying for his senior year. same goes for brian cushing.

james laurinaitis and malcom kelly would be very wise to declare and could be tops at their positions going into the draft. desean jackson should declare tooand he should be the next receiver taken in the draft after kelly goes.

again, the 2008 draft is going to have a weak senior class. lots of underclassmen should declare and take advantage of it, possibly a record number..

Kenny Phillips and Mario Urrutia have already declared for the draft.

Mark my words, if he decides to make the jump, Rashard Mendenhall will be the 2nd RB taken! Dude is a monster!! Only Mcfadden will be drafted higher at RB!

Man, I really like this crop of running backs.

There's no way Pat White leaves, and I'm not saying that because I'm desperate to have him back.

Rashard MendenHall

Edit- Why would Pat leave? Is he even going to play QB?

He ran away from the USC defence nuff said imo

They were having trouble bringing him down too. Running through arm tackles
To me he says Ricky Williams without the mileage or the issues.

Yeah I didnt expect White OR Slaton to leave. They can have a Nat'l championship run next year if they stay. And Mendenhall is not even all that good.

Wow, possibly one of the worst posts in the history of S&T. There is nothing even remotely close to the truth in anything this dude says.

Jerry Jones needs to forget about Darren McFadden. Just wait it out and get Mendenhall, Jones, Stewart, or Charles...

Don't know why Jamaal is leaving, though. This RB class is DEEP, and I can't really see him being higher than a second rounder...He needs another year,IMO...Maybe I'm wrong, though.

No you are 100% correct he is a fool for leaving this year. There are way to many prototype backs coming out that teams will take over him andthere are also quite a few scat/slasher backs who might go before him. He should have at least waited for Slaton to make up his mind.

it's only deep if mcfadden, stewart, jones, and mendenhall all come out. even then, he'll have other backs to compete with for draft positionin the 2009 draft, so i really think it was a push for him. could he have potentially been the first back taken in 2009? maybe, but i think he still gets takenahead of all of the senior running backs going into this draft. again, a weak senior class is probably weighing heavily on a lot of underclassmen'sdecisions to come out..
