I've said it before and I'll say it again.......... if Sacramento chokes away our own arena steez, then the Kings NEED to go to Seattle.

Seattle Mariners are opposed to the arena because they are afraid of schedule overlaps, and have warned business owners about increased traffic. Someone needs to remind the Mariners they can't even fill half their stadium, so what's another 15,000-18,000 people showing up for an NBA game (you know, in the few weeks in April their seasons actually might conflict)? I love this city. So much short sightedness.

So much for those "Mariners are excited" articles I read earlier

What's worse, is that they're trying to pass it off as an e-mail sent by one person to local businesses, but we all know it's from the front office. What a joke. At least the NFL and NBA have an understanding about scheduling games. The NBA doesn't schedule any marquee games on Sundays that would compete with any NFL games (regular season and playoffs). Do the Mariners honestly think anyone cares about the first couple weeks of the MLB season?

Well...I do.

That's the only part of the M's baseball season that they're still contenders.

Your guys' biggest hurdle is still finding Hansen a team to buy and relocate to Seattle, not the Mariners

Well it looks like the stars are aligning for Sacramento. Sacramento County (not city) announced that they are going to offer up county parking in order to help build an arena.

ORLANDO, FL. -- The NBA's top players are in Orlando for the All-Star Game, and buzz over a potential arena in Seattle is catching the attention of former Sonics.
"We got up and moved and it was tough for the fans in Seattle. I wish it didn't go down the way it did," said Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Durant, a former Seattle Sonic, was the NBA Rookie of the Year just before the Sonics relocated to Oklahoma City.
"I'm enjoying Oklahoma City, but I still love Seattle. It will always have a place in my heart. Hopefully, they're having a talk about getting a team there soon, so we'll see."
Durant told KING 5's Chris Daniels he even notices signs in crowds proudly stating who drafted him.
"I played there for a year," said Durant, who was drafted in 2007 by the Sonics. "I can't just throw them to the side."
Former Sonic Brent Barry was also spotted in Orlando. He said he's also following Seattle's arena news.
"I'm pretty stoked about it, and I like that it's being handled with with kid gloves right now, the way Chris Hansen handles things," said Barry. "I have to explain to my kids that I played for five years in Seattle, and they go, 'What team in Seattle?' That kind of sucks."

I truly hope Seattle gets a team.

Here we stay!

: Assume that Seattle and Chris Hansen's group will move on to target the Hornets and Bucks as potential relocation candidates. 1 minute ago

Good luck to Seattle basketball fans. For the record if the Kings were to move, Seattle would have been my first and only choice. Again I wish you guys the best of luck.
