I think it's really happening, to Death or to some woman nobody is expecting.

Gail Simone Back At Marvel. For Deadpool.

The ceremony will be followed by a reception unlike any other – as ‘pool writers of yesteryear return for new stories featuring the garish groom-to-be. Including Fabian Nicieza, Mark Waid, Joe Kelly, Christopher Priest, Jimmy Palmiotti, Frank Tieri, Gail Simone, Daniel Way & Victor Gischler.

Why the hell would odin ever show up for his wedding... I just realized that squirrel girl was a bridesmaid, who's the red head? Mary jane? Lol at cap being the best man, also wolverine doesn't even like him, why would he have been in the reception lol

The cover is a joke so that explains away Odin but if the bride is Death then it makes sense. The red head is DP's ex-gf Siryn I think and Cable is his best man not Cap. Cap and Wolverine are probably there for jokes as well but the 3 of them recently teamed up to take down mutant experiments in North Korea so there's that connection.

The Secret Service. It's about a kid who goes under his uncles wing to become a spy(mi6). He's on a mission to capture a guy who's kidnapping celebrities. GREAT comic through all six books. Pick this up.

it's filming now

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2802144/ ....Colin Firth is my only problem here,, but he'll do well.

NT - big shout out to all those who participate in this thread. You all really helped respark my interest in comics and graphic novels. Recently got back into reading after a long hiatus and I think it's safe to say that I am in it for the long haul. You all have some pretty cool insight and good suggestions for reads. Eventually I'll post some pics of what I've got, though it's nothing revolutionary because back in the beginning honestly the artwork mostly influenced which books I bought. Today was a big day as this came in the mail. Adding this to my collection means I've finally completed the "OG" Ultimate Spider-man series #1-133, which is cool because it was one of the books that really got me into comics when I was a young teenager back in the early 2000's. Anyway keep the thread alive and hopefully with some more reading under my belt and a little brushing up, I'll become an active contributor to this thread (I envy ya'lls knowledge). Stay up!

^I regret not getting into Ultimate universe. I am going to try out the post Ultimatum stuff since X-Men and Spidey are both less than 35 issues. And I will look into Ultimate Marvel Now

Anyone paying attention to the Image Expo? I need to predict which comic will be the next Saga so I can get my hand on it early this time

My money is on "C.O.W.L" and "Low", but mostly "Low".

I'm saying Wytches and Outcast,I'm grabbing multiple copies of Outcast in case the tv show is a hit and the value goes pretty high....

I think the expectation for Wytches is only high because of Scott Snyder. Because of scott snyder's name, enough issues of Wytches will be printed where it won't even matter.

I dont think Rick Remender has that kind of buzz. But his work is dope. If he can recreate Uncanny X-Force Vol. 1 quality I will be more than happy.

As for C.O.W.L I can see a T.V show based on it someday. It would fill the void of the waste of potential that was Heroes.

You're probably right about Wytches,I was expecting Snyders American Vampire to become big but I see back issues of that even early issues sell for cover or below,I've heard it's a good read so I may pick up the full run for cheap..
