Bought the OG and variants to the Spider-Man #1 for $5 a couple years back :smokin

That led me to searching to buy Mcfarlane's ASM run, but the prices for those are ridiculous lol

Just got back from the shop. Didn't realize Darth Maul #1 was today. pimp.gif

Also, Marvel is reprinting Wolverine #1 and The Incredible Hulk #181 right now. pimp.gif

Finally checking the series out. This comic is so ******* good. Wish i'd started it sooner.

Starts off great, then gets a little pretentious and meta but now it looks like it's finishing strong.

Just finished the 18th trade, so i've gotten through the first 100 issues or so, and i'm still enjoying it so far. Said in on another forum, but Invincible, as a character, kind of reminds me of what Peter Parker might be like if he had Superman's basic power set. I've enjoyed the world they built, along with the support cast and villains. The situation with the Viltrumites is pretty interesting in itself, when, at the beginning, I was expecting to be annoyed at the Kryptonian knock offs. laugh.gif

The last time they did this we got Spider-Gwen and Gwenpool (who isn't even Gwen Stacy, good book though). I wonder if they'll do it again.

Is Planet Hulk/World War Hulk worth a blind buy? I seen the omnibus coming out soon nerd.gif

And speaking of omnibus, Marvel is playing by not releasing the whole Ultimate Spidey run. They got 4 volumes of Sang-Chi out, but sticking me with only 1 volume of USM mean.gif

Yes PH and WWH are worth it.

Yes, both are absolutely worth it and i'll probably be picking up both of those new omnibus collectiions myself. I just pre-ordered the Wonder Woman by George Perez Volume 2 Omnibus a few weeks back and i've been thinking about which omnibus I want to get next. Both DC and Marvel have a few nice collections coming out through the rest of the year.

I would re-buy PH/WWH in a hardcover collection if it wasn't oversized without hesitation. Not about that omnibus life. Deluxe Editions are okay sometimes. I bought the Batman: Death and the Maidens Deluxe Edition a couple months ago without even thinking about it being a deluxe. It's cool though. It's not one of those gigantic beasts. I got it for half price and now I have it in one book.

What I really want Marvel to release is The Vision in a single hardcover. nerd.gif

Meant to respond to the second part of your comment but completely forgot @DangerousG. It's a damn shame that Marvel hasn't released the entire Ultimate Spider-Man series in omnibus format yet and apparently has no plans to do so at the moment mean.gif Hate **** like that. Part of the reason I avoided ordering the first Wonder Woman by George Perez Omnibus for so long is because I wasn't counting on DC actually going through with this and creating a second one.
