Question for yall, If I have notified my landlord that there is a leak in my ceiling and two weeks have past and nothing has been done about it. Can I take some type of actions towards this? The leak is in the bathroom and I swear It might be pee.


Forgot to add I live in the basement level of an apartment complex, so the floor on top of me is causing the leak.

Yeah I did some research and saw that as an option. But is the landlord/company obligated to deduct that from my rent if I do indeed get it fixed myself? Honestly this repair may cost more than my rent, maybe thats why they are ducking me
