The Oak and Copper Beech might get a little toooo big for what I'm going for though.  Likely end up doing Sugar Maple.

Dat foliage life.

What about a magnolia tree?

They're pretty big but provide a lot of shade.

That Sugar Maple would be gorgeous in the Fall

I've always wanted a huge Willow. Trim the inner branches n put a card table n ice chest under it for the summer.

What's the sq. ft. of your yard?

Its raw right now so usable sq footage I wont know until its built and driveway put in... But it should be at least 60 ft at the road front and then 100 or so back to the house.

That's a pretty good sized yard. You should be fine with any of the trees you mentioned. What kind of grass you looking to put in?

Not sure yet... Our builder typically prepares with topsoil and gets it ready for sod or seed.  I haven't priced those things out yet though, I'm guessing sod is going to cost a lot.

It depends on how fast you want your lawn filled. With a few 3'x3' patches sprinkled here n there it would take maybe a year n a half to get it all filled in, depending on the type of grass. That wouldn't be too expensive either. But if you want it all filled in immediately, that would be pretty pricey. We did my uncles backyard about a year n a half ago with some 1x1 St. Augustine patches, n it's full as **** now. Then again, it wasn't his lawn we were doing.

Of course you can always go **** & Jane style

SOUTH GLENS FALLS -- Two young boys were seriously hurt late Monday afternoon when a gust of wind blew an inflatable “bounce house” structure into the air with three children inside, tossing two to asphalt from at least 15 feet above ground. The boys, ages 5 and 6, were taken to Albany Medical Center, where they were admitted for serious injuries. One suffered a traumatic head injury, officials said. A 10-year-old girl who was inside suffered minor scrapes when she fell, according to her mother. One of the boys landed on a parked car after he was tossed out of the toy, while the other landed on asphalt when the incident happened around 3:30 p.m. off Ferry Boulevard. “It was like a horror movie,” she said. “It just kept going up and up. It cleared our building and the trees.”

A 12-foot python has been returned to its owner after a slithery stop at a Central Texas home where a woman earlier bathed her pet guinea pigs.

The Eagle newspaper reported  Tuesday that Veronica Rodriguez was shocked in early May when the big snake turned up in her bathroom.

Police believe the African python slipped into the house when Rodriguez left the back door open after bathing her three household guinea pigs and putting the critters in outdoor pens.

Rodriguez says she heard strange noises, returned to the bathroom and discovered the snake crawling into the tub. She called 911.
Nope not I. I woulda had to move

Here's a very, very rough outline of our property... Its probably not even that close honestly.  But the house needs to go back behind where it widens, so the front yard gonna be pretty big.
