Ordered a pcv valve for my car and some new windshield wipers.
Amazon total was $38...free shipping. The dealership "you need a new pcv valve...$150...and your windshield wipers need to be replaced they are extremely old...$45" Me: "No thanks i'm good" google how to replace a pcv valve...finds 12 min youtube....i need 1 tool....the valve was $9.
Total savings $157
Next up...learing how to replace my brake pads...because they wanted an arm and a leg to replace my brake pads and resurface my rotors. Operation learn more about my car is under way!!

My dealership does free oil changes for life. So the kind of coax you into coming in for them all the time...then try to hammer you with maintenance. So when i bought my car i basically factored in what oil changes would cost me in the price of the car...and decided they were the cheapest. But i come to find out that they call the dealership $500 Jones...because every time i bring my car in...they find at least $500 worth of "mandatory" maintenance.
I read online that people said if a mechanic charges you more then $50 to replace the PCV then its a rip off most should do it for $30....or $150!!!! like what the hell?!?! I bring my ipad every time and when they say you "need" this i say hold on. GOOGLE...NO THANKS

Thats some good **** right there, I ******* hate dealerships, and most people dont realize how easy it is to fix these so called $300-$1000 jobs. I recently just purchased the vgc valve for $30 off amazon too, **** cost $400 from Firestone, be feeling like
