the thread about nothing...

All those terrible family sitcoms

you gotta understand man, times were different then. The family sitcom is dead right now. The format got switched to a more reality based setting. If Modern Family was made then, it'd be a sitcom. Imagine how cheesy it would be. But then, that's what was popular. Time goes on, things change. But in watching some of those old shows, the message remains in some. That's what makes some of them classic.

Thus proving my point from earlier.

Wait a minute, how old are you? I think that's relevant to this topic

TV is trash period fallaz. Sports & Cartoons is all there is. With an occasional great show here and there.

@HerbShuttles15  taken that into account, I would expect you to have that view. TV had already changed vastly from when you were watching it as a kid than from when I was watching it, despite us not being terribly far apart in age. You are the same age as my brother and have the same view. It's different looking back in retrospect as opposed to watching it as you go along in life. I look at shows like The Brady Bunch, The Munsters etc. and feel the same way about those shows as you do about Full House. The biggest difference in tv from then up until now that I have noticed is, while it's all entertainment, there was some sort of underlying message in whatever was shown. Although it was cheesy, the message was still there. You see less of that now.
