I'm tryna go to church tommorow, gonna be the 1st time in 4 years , I have no church clothes would it be petty if I went in jeans and foams?

Depends what denomination. I'm Catholic and I go in ball shorts, a tee, and flip flops. I don't know how other churches are but the two that I go to are pretty leniant with the dress code. We got kids in Eagles jerseys on Football Sundays

nah I don't get off work til 1 and I'm goin at 9am, I'm a member of this church I jus ain't been in a lil while , I'm too tall to fit most my homies clothes , I got a cardigan if that makes it better

well if you're trying to be low key or look like you're attempting to conform to the dress code, skip the foams. cardigan is straight.

going for my annual church visit tomorrow myself. its moms b-day and that's one of her presents.

depends on the church and your family...the church i go to is casual/formal...i'll show up in a hoody and jeans + sneakers ....you don't want to embarrass your family or be disrespectful ....i went to a baby christening whatever and came up with a team shirt and jeans, everybody was wearing button ups and stuff it was awkward

True indeed but like af1 said his focus shouldnt be on that...I know alot of churches around my way that have a social high school mentality...it becomes more of a fashion show...but yeah ur right u gotta be comfortable, As long as its not inappropriate..do you, then maybe change your style later if you feel like you want to
