This thread is at its best when it's used for its originally intended purposes: posting about things that don't belong anywhere else but here. The miscellaneous convo's, quick suggestions without having to make a thread, random thoughts, etc. are a staple of TAN and part of the reason why the thread has been more of a success than a failure up to this point.
Some of y'all might not get the bigger picture but when you allow any and everything to be posted then people become comfortable w/ using this as a replacement for other discussions in General/S&T/Music and that hurts the overall productivity of the site.
It's real easy to think short-term but take the long view on this one, bros. When you really think about it...you'll understand why Meth had to step in.
I could be wrong but I don't 'eem think Meth wants casual sports/music posts because that usually leads to the discussions or whatnot. Personally, I just avoid posting about those things in here because the other forums are only a few clicks away and there's obviously better interaction in the appropriate threads for that particular subject.

I took a shower washing every body part with actual soap; including all my major crevices; including inbetween my toes and in my belly button, which I never did before but sort of enjoyed. I washed my hair with adult formula shampoo and used cream rinse for that just-washed shine. I can't seem to find my toothbrush, so I'll pick one up when I go out today. Other than that, I'm in good shape.

i personally do not think that this thread has lost any of it's luster after the rules were implemented..
we had our fun during those times but it was only a matter of time before meth set some rules for the thread.
the only problem now is that i'm convinced some people are just straight up slow.. like what part of the rules do they not understand.

I really hate interview questions like this, and EVERY job asks the same type of questions. One day i hope there is a complete overhaul/universal reconstruction of the interview process.

quick help NY guys. I'm writing a script and need the name of any address that may or may not exist so I can give my character some background in this opening conversation he has. 41st and queenside or something that people call out in general
what my story so far is that the guy I named Carl is hitting the subway, (if u can give me any subway that hits manhattan from any area, like brooklyn or harlem, queens etc that'll be cool too) and he talks to and older nice dude and a young thug guy around his age. 20's.
My Story is Carl plays chess and is really good but has to struggle with putting on a front going to high class events since he's so good and the only black guy there and going back every night to the hood to face his reality. in the subway he has an dry cleaned suit that belonged to his dad that he wears to every event. he can't afford another. and a small chess board. I'm opening the scene talkin to an OG and a youngblood to foreshadow the whole scripts/films story of which way does he choose by the end of it all if u know what I mean

I take it you meant no. Well damn, that sucks man. She probably just needs some time to clear her head. I doubt she'd be talking to you everyday if there wasn't hope. She's obviously worried you've been cheating on her again...which is understandable. All you can do is assure her you haven't and try to win her trust back. Of course, if you're feeling really ballsy, you could always fly out to see her. In any case, hope it works out.
