Capital One Pre approved for up to 30k in Auto Financing vol Say Word?

Lucky you a good dude these clowns getting they laughs in though

IMO I would stay away from Cap 1, their interest rates are turrrrrrible

so Capital one approved me for a rate of 7.69 for a 2011 or newer whip, 8.47 for a 2010 , I`m waiting on BOA to hit me back, I just submitted these for the heck of it to see what would happen, I was shocked i got approved cause I know my credit isn't as high as it should be cause I got a balance on 2 credit cards I used last yr that Im about to pay off in the up coming month on some money I just came up on.

I swear NT helps this dude w. more day-to-day stuff than anyone else

"NT...my nose is running, what do I do?"

Is that a good rate? I haven't really done any research into the car buying process. If all my credit scores are over 750+, what should I expect. Also, a shot was taking at you in the who is the fattest nter thread.

i talked to my mom, she said its decent for a first time buyer (I'm 23.)  I didn't expect to have an OD low APR though cause Im pretty young, and don't have a long credit history.

You guys ever dealt with Internet Sales reps from Dealers? I know most dealerships say "Internet only special deal" but can those prices be negotiated?

I don't remember it saying anything about having to go to a specific dealership, though.

that is INSANE

I went 2 months relocating between jobs, and my savings account bread was used for getting the crib I currently live in.

And Al Audi, my boy say I should go to a credit union, cause I might get a 6% or lower interest rate, but I feel to lazy to go to one, and them joints everywhere only thing I dislike.

IF what youre saying is true and both cards are about to be paid off in a month you shouldve till you paid them off.

Pay off both cards and check your credit score about a month later to make sure your new paid off balances are now showing up on your report.

THEN you go shopping around for the best deal.

Why take a credit hit now with your high balance then take another credit hit in 2-3 months with your new balance?

Too many credit inquiries negatively impact your credit score.

BOA just hit me back and approved me for less money 15900, but the apr is 5.12 for used at a non preferred dealer, 4.69 at a preferred dealer, and 4.24 for a new whip at a preferred, and 4.67 at a non preferred dealer.

That's a very generous rate that BoA is offering.

the thing is, Im not trying to pay a downpayment on a whip, I wasn't going to use the full 25k that Cap one is offering, but they give me more room to play around with when it comes to negotiating prices at the dealership. I have to call them back today, you think I could prob bring up the rates BOA is offering? Cause in reality even though I can get a nice car for 15900, If I`m paying a note for that long I want something I want not that I'm forced to get, and I`m not trying to pay the diff on a 20k whip when that coulda just gon to the monthly payments Cap one was offering.

Since you're not in a hurry to buy, why not just pretend and pay  yourself the car payment.  That way you have the money saved at the time you're ready to purchase.  Plus you're letting the bank pay you and you'll be able to negotiate a better price for the car since you'll be paying in cash.

This a dope forum you may want to check out for some good answers as well http://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?showforum=17 .  Good luck.

Yes, I have gotten those before but never go because of the lack of choices. If they approve you there, they should approve you anywhere. Even if the terms are not the best, you can refi after a few pymts. Some will tell you that you have to wait six months, but that's not true. I re-fi'd the Vette after 2 payments to move with my credit union. Get into a credit union.

I literally just got in form joining one, I've always wanted to make a savings account with one, so I went ahead and did that and checked about the auto loan. The lady said she will contact me in a few days with the decision.

I just got off the phone with Cap one and they are offering me 27k at that 7.69 rate, of course I have no plans of getting a whip at that cost. Do you guys think the Credit Union will be generous with the amount they give?

any of y'all ever worked with an Internet Sales department at a dealership? In regards to haggling/negotiating prices

Lucky goin hard right now for some answers lol, I can see you got the adrenaline goin. What car do you want anyways? You got like a top 3?

Can you take the loan from BOA then take the cash to the dealer to negotiate a better "cash in hand" price?
