with the raiders drafting in the 3/4 spot they will pick up darren mcfadden. their defensive line can be improved by picking up jared allen. what makes methink we can land a guy like him? the simple fact that he's a raiders fan. improvements in wide receiver and other positions can come later in the draft.jamarcus russell and darren mcfadden

-If we draft DMac: our defense suffers
-If we don't draft DMac: we lose a possible franchise RB (something we've NEVER had; Blair Thomas & Adrian Murrell don't count).
That being said, I'd rather draft McFadden and take the L on defense.

Man, I hope KC lets him go...dude will be a Raider if they let him go. With Burgess on one side and Jarred Allen on the other
Anyways, there is no way you can tell if the Raiders will take McFadden right now, it all depends if LaMont Jordan is going to be traded or just let go...Idoubt he is going to stay because he wasn't happy with his PT this season...then you got Justin Fargas who is hitting FA this offseason, so who knows ifthey will sign him or not...I believe he did earn the right to another contract but its hard to say with McFadden in the draft...
But Russell + McFadden does sound like a nice duo

Yeah, hopefully things will be able to turn around for the Silver and Black this off-season. I hope they release LaMont and sign Fargas to run alongsideMcFadden. It is a little too early to say that McFadden will go to the Raiders considering the Cowboys are looking to trade up with the Dolphins but hopefullythey won't and Al Davis starts making some good moves by picking up McFadden. I would looooove to see how well they would fare with a duo like and Russelland McFadden.

people keep talkin bout the Cowboys movin up...but you think they'd actually go ahead and trade up to the #1 spot? they'd have to give up hella draftpicks if they wanna pull that off...Ricky Williams style...

Dorsey would great, he'd automatically fill Sapp's spot. How great of a line would that be with Burgess and Jared Allen (I sure hope he ends up inOakland) on the ends and Dorsey in the middle.
But I really want to see the Raiders offense go somewhere next season though. We need some playmakers like McFadden.

I heard Parcells wants Marion Barber III and would give the first pick for Barber, Dallas 1st rd pick (Clevelands pick), and a 2nd round pick...then Dallasdrafts DMAC.. whos on Jerry Jones wish list since he went to Arkansas

Yeah, I'm hoping McFadden is still available by the time the Raiders come up. Lamont Jordan is super gone. Dude will forever be a back-up. Fargasshowed what he was capable of and i think he would be back for at least another season, but the running back duo has been fairly popular these last few yearsin the NFL and i'm thinking my Raiders may go that route. This draft is DEEP with talent so even if McFadden is gone, i'm sure we can find somebodyelse (maybe his counter part at Arkansas, maybe Slaton, maybe Stewart) to fill in our glaring weaknesses such as our yearly turnstyles for offensive linemanand wide receiver. I wouldn't mind seeing DeSean Jackson being drafted either.
