All of those saying that you're passing on this "horrible colorway", I'm extremely surprised. I remember thinking of how clean these were when i got them back in '06 as far as color blocking and colors in general goes.
Imma feel the same way about these when I finally hold a fresh pair in my hands again.. my pair is dead. Used them as beaters, but I still have them. Should probably have a funeral for them soon, but i don't want to let them go.

When these were fresh out the box and on feet back in '89 they were one of the best looking shoes around -maybe it's just a generation gap, but this CW is dope as hell to me.
I think the terrible quality of the last retros has diminished Jordan fan's appetites for these -if they'd have been released with decent quality and shape alongside the two other IVs back in 1999, they would be on people's grail lists for sure.
But then again, you're all going to buy them anyway ...regardless of what you're saying now

Seriously. JB is trying to rape our bank accounts! I will not fall for it. My '06 pair has been worn less than 10 times, so I'm good. I'll only drop $180ish for the Playoff XIIs and Raptor VIIs.

And If you even can count the Space Jams considering how little blue they have. Those are probably my #3 favorite Jordan. I never liked these joints though.
These joints sat because before everyone hopped on every release, people genuinely weren't crazy about these joints.
Don't get me wrong though, they're cool and all but back around 06 people weren't hopping on every release. Sure there were certain joints that sold out but nowadays EVERYTHING sells out.
Who doesn't love EVERY shoe coming out now? Nowadays people get +%#% because they want to say they got it. Back then and before it wasn't like that.

As a collectors piece, I would definitely cop. But to wear? I'm passing. And I wear all of my shoes so that automatically means I'm not getting these.
I hope the quality is on point though, because I need those breds to be on point later this year.

I love this CW, but I have the 06 still looking nice - I'll put the funds away and maybe try to double up on the Black/Reds, or overpay to get them a smidge early to avoid the Cement BS.
