Post pics of HIGH-END DESIGNER CLOTHING (pics)...............

AirMurph, I might take advantage of that 20% off denim at Barneys this weekend and get some Diors. I will try and get MIJ if they have it but how much do they stretch? I will try them on in the store but I am not sure if I should size down to anticipate the stretch. Any info is helpful and much appreciated.

You're getting indigo right?  Because the black raws do fit a bit smaller, but I don't think they warrent a size change from the indigos.

honestly I like mine a little looser in the thighs, so I usually size down 1 or go true to size for a fit like this:


but if you want a slimmer fit like this:


size down 2.  They'll be really tight at first, like to the point you shouldn't be able to button them fully but they stretch about 2 sizes, and fairly quickly(I'd say they stretch about 1 size in the first day, then 1 more size in the next couple weeks.)

And to be completely honest, if they're sold out of the MIJ's I would just wait.  In my experience the MII raws just don't have the same quality or fit as the ones MIJ.

You do not have much stacking on your pics but the second pic looks like it has a lot more stacking.

Damn, I have to wear them without closing the button? Might be difficult.

As for colors, I want to get the darkest blue raw denim possible and the black raw denim.
I figure that should pretty much cover me for any occasion jeans are acceptable.
Also, is 19cm their smallest hem? That is about 7.5" leg opening and my 511's are 7" and I prefer them that way.

The inseam is usually 38''.  And neither picture is me but the more you size down the slimmer the leg is obviously so I think it probably just gives the illusion of having more stacking; or else the guy in the first picture got them hemmed(which I don't understand, because the stacking is what Diors are known for) or is taller.  They've recently been phasing out the 21 CM's and adding more 17.5 CM's, but I think the 17.5 hem is mostly on the washed pairs, not raw.  I think Barneys usually has the 19 CM dark blue(indigo) and black raws in stock, and maybe one or two pair of washed denim.

and yeah, having to deal with tight jeans for a week is the main reason I don't size down much, not worth it for me.  But I know most people just wear them around the house for a few hours to get them to stretch.
 
when did the damier stole scarf come in blue? i have only seen the black and also the white azur for girls, but i know they have recently added the ebene to their website, anyone seen this blue before?
 
Picked up some Dior MIJ 17cm to try out, thanks for all the help Air Murph. I got a size 28, the smallest they had. Not sure if it is something to worry about since they fit just right, maybe a bit tighter than what I am used to but not as bad as I expected. The waist is even a size big. I was going to grab a black pair too but they only had a 30 and it is wider so my guess is it is a 21cm. I guess I'll wait and see how these turns out before buying another one, I also wish they had a darker one but this will have to do for now.

Still love my Levis though.

how do those diors fit for dudes with bigger thighs (no mo)? I want the the leg opening to be slim, but when I buy slim jeans the thigh area is always tight.
 
I have been told that the size differences are pretty huge between sizes. Like I tried on the size 30 and it fit like 3-4 sizes bigger than the 28. I say try them on in the store, I think the 21cm might be more loose too compared to the 19cm. They said MII also stretches more so try and look for one of those.

I just ordered a black pair too, should arrive next week.

any of you know of the Keep It bracelets in Graphite come in size 17?

The lone LV store here in Manila has them only in 19 and 21, while the Azur and Ebene have allthree sizes (17, 19, 21).
