Moncler was actually on sale for 60%-70% off this past weekend at Bloomingdales.
They had a extra 50% off sale items, they had these racing Moncler jacket on the website I wanted to get but they didn't have my size.
I think price was $400 from $1100 iirc.

just checked on their website and it's only $825. i might bite the bullet soon and order it. seems kinda cool in theory, but i might get bored of it eventually.
 
I want to order it too but I need to see how thick it is. I can't deal with thick wallets in my back pocket, I also have a feeling I won't be able to sit with it in my back pocket.

as much as i love this pattern i was actually at harrods in london lookin at this carbon fiber weave pattern on a wallet and it is not as good quality as it looks especially when they make such good quality leather items, the store display had some of the weave coming undone along the edge which im assuming was just from daily handling of showing to customers

i couldnt imagine what it would look like after being in my back pocket for a year
o and this is in reference to the belt not the actual wallet which i believe is made of actual carbon fiber
 
The CF pattern is actually weaved? I thought it was just a print.
I don't think the CF wallet will have the same problem, it is actually made of real CF and once CF is treated to it's solid state, it shouldn't unravel.

How about wooden wallets?

ralph laurens got some sick black label coats and jackets on their sale page, some 60% off with an extra 20%, mostly bigger sizes but definitely worth checkin out if your a large or xl

the one i wanted (not black label tho) was the fordham wool toggle that was 1195.00 down to 449.99 with an extra 20% off sale price but they only have size large
 
Thanks guys, I checked the websites and no luck, might have to check the stores out, I wonder why we don't have a Bloomingdales in Houston.
 
Those wood wallets are dope imo...anyone know of any other designers that make them? I was debating those MMM ones, but for $400...
 
My problem with that JDM wallet is... what happens when the battery dies in the wallet? Are you screwed?

Yup.

I'm also pretty sure a thief can pry it open with a screw driver.
 
I have a feeling the battery is only for the blue tooth connectivity with your phone (so when it goes 5 meters away it beeps or sends a signal to your phone.
I don't think the thumb scan takes up much energy and probably has a lot of power reserve for that.
 
I was searching for Moncler's and saw on CL someone selling them, texted if they were authentic and they said yeah but not sure. Here are some pics:
 
umm can't really tell, but becareful with buying moncler onlines unless from department stores...There are so many fake monclers floating on the web.
 
I swear no more RO's leathers until the stooges. After that, then that is it for RO leathers.
 
Thanks, really loving how RO's fit and overall style. Quality is top notch too, the light grey one is blistered lamb and the detail on it is amazing, almost every inch of the jacket is different. So soft too, almost like silk.
