Wondering is anyone else into high end colognes like myself? These are some of my colognes, I like to match it up with the shower gel as well regardless of "high end" or not. I kno im weird lol but just my style.
Starting with Burberry (3rd row) i have the shower gels to those colognes. Sorry for the crappy pics tried my best.

I used to be but now I just prefer having a signature smell. Like my female friends and ex'es always thinks of me when they smell the colognes I use (got two in rotation). Plus at some point I just got too lady trying to pick once to choose once I more than 10 bottles to choose from.

I hear ya RFX. I just rotate them and only wear them when Im going out. Others are used for just daily wear. What two in rotation are you using ?

fragrances are tailored for individuals and it smells different on everyone to everyone. ive actually never bought cologne, iv always let the girl at the time buy me what they liked on me and just wore the ones they bought for them. i dont like designer body products because i dont think they are on the same level quality as a dermatologist recommended brand even if they smell better.
to my nose, i like a ysl one i have the most but apparently its a really "sweet" fragrance and borderline girly makin me smell more feminine but i really couldnt tell (yes it is a mens cologne)

if youre an XL and in GTA, holts last call had this burberry leather bomber for a great price (679 before taxes down from 1595) and the balmain varsity in m-l for 2.3ish k down from just under 6k.
so angry they they didnt have a size small for the burberry or i woulda scooped that up asap

I actually have John Varvatos as my main and Chanel Bleu as my second and this is the one that gets rotated once in a while. I've been meaning to changing things up a bit so thanks for reminding me, just ordered a bottle of Creed Aventus. I'll see if that can be the 3rd piece of the rotation.Originally Posted by dluv

I thought I was the only one who thought the YSL cologne smelled a little feminine. My sense of smell picked up flowers and powder.
I'm biased towards fresh smelling colognes though. That's probably why.

@dluv-The 2 colognes I have in rotation are the Polo Black & Gucci Sport (my favorite of the 2
)

I wonder if that's Chanel I missed out on. I was in home depot a while back (almost a year) and this guy had some chanel on, no !*+$ lol i was like what the hell is that? Went to Rodeo and sold out!!!. I can't remember the name or color bottle, i want to say it was a clear bottle. Is yours clear? Haven't smelled the other 2 but Ima check it out, u got good taste. haha good man, I love those 2. Wore Gucci sport not too long ago myself. Im not sure which is my favorite cologone, maybe Armani Code. You should try the shower gels with them, I think you'll like it.Originally Posted by KicksBoyWonder

Bottle color is blue. The one you are talking about is probably either the Allure or Egoiste although I am not sure why it would sell out.

i dunno im not big on colognes lol, to me theyre not worth the price at all. a good deodarant lasts longer. cologne hardly last over an hour unless you cake it on and then its too much and you cant be outside too long or in a crowded place, in clubs you cant smell em and when im with a girl on a date im already with her so i dont feel i need do anything else
the only cologne i would maybe buy myself cause ive always liked it is armani acqua di gio but eveeeeryone has it

Buy good colognes that uses natural oils. Like Creed, some reports that a little spray lasts a couple of days. It has different levels of notes and the smell lingers.
Also, for the most part, the scent may seem to disappear quick but that is because our nose adapts to it so even though you don't smell it, most of the time it is still there.
Like in my old car, I used to have this Japanese air freshener that smelled like bubble gum and I could have sworn the smell is gone after a week but every time someone gets in my car they always tell me about the smell. My nose just adapted to it and I do not notice it anymore. Same goes for my cologne, I only smell it if I put too much.
As for deodorants, they tend to stain your shirts either with the aluminum or it turns the armpits of white undershirts yellow. I just don't like it and I rarely use it since I don't sweat much or smell bad when I do sweat a bit.

this...you smell it when you first put it on then hours later you dont smell anything but someone compliments you...people always make the mistake of always needing to smell it themselves thus putting on wayyy too much

I think it was the Egoiste, sounds familiar, Im not sure why but i remember vividly, it was sold out.

I know what you mean on the Car freshener. I have had that happen many times, where I can't smell it anymore but someone gets in my car and compliments it and I'm like i don't smell it anymore.

I hear ya, everyone has their own things. As stated im just big on hygiene in all phases and I take it to another level. I would disagree on cologne only lasting and hour or not being able to smell it in clubs/crowed place. No matter where I'm at, including a Club last friday, I get complimented on how I smell a great deal. I have come home from a club or night out many times and the girl tells me how good i smell. In fact 100 percent of the time when I have a girl over, the first thing they say to me is "You smell nice" I have a certain way I put on cologne as well. A friend of mine gave me a tip for having cologne to last longer and it works for me. That being said, I think everyone is different and what works for me might not work for you. Also, deodorant and cologne are for two completely different uses.
