I never said the brand is garbage, way to reach out there.
We are speaking purely on looks here. I said they are ugly, I have no doubt about their performance and they beat Nike in likely all categories when it comes to developing running shoes except for looks. There's no knocking how well the shoe perform, they are just not very good looking to me.
No denying they're classic and their heritage and what not, it doesn't change the fact that they are hideous to me.
I do not like their logo either and how it is emblazoned on their shoe and the way it looks just tacked on there, it doesn't help that it looks like a generic cheap payless shoe design and that is probably a compliment at how well they sell that Payless copies the style/logo but it isn't for me. Yeah the Onitsuka Tiger shoes are even worse.
The GL2 and GL3 looks bad to me, it is so busy. I'd rather wear some Nike Vortex or Pegasus 83 or MS78 or AM1, hell I'd rather wear some classic NB to be honest. I really could go on.
Sorry to really derail the thread but Asics just isn't for me. No offense intended to those who likes them.

Matches just got some new stuff in. I picked up these jeans I have been ogling on Luisviaroma but on Matches for $400 cheaper

Also interested in these pair of SLP jeans, anybody seen this in person? Does it look much better in person? Really need a light washed jeans but I am not sure how these looks in person. It's also the 17.5cm, do they pretty much fit like Diors? APC PNS?

I have seen those at the Chicago SLP store, what do you mean by much better? They do look better then the picture although the color is about the same.
I have a pair of 17.5cm waxed SLPs, the 17.5 seem to have a little more room in the top block then the 15.5 cm version even in the same tag size. I haven't worn any APC's to compair, and the Diors I order haven't arrived yet.

In my screen, maybe it's the contrast setting, but the jeans looks more flushed or light with a bit of yellowish hue or almost dirty. Again might be the screens contrast but it's hard to determine how the color really is in pics online. I guess I just don't want it to be dad jeans type of wash if that makes sense?
Same with quality, is it thick, paper thin, comfortable right off the rack, etc... All almost impossible to ascertain in pics so I am looking for opinions on people who has handled the pair.

This Margiela degrade jeans are kind of cool, instead of fading color, it's fading wax effect. COuld have been modeled better but I'll check these them out when I get the chance.

Size down and you should be good. The thoughts might be a little tight but denim stretches and you don't want a saggy waste.

Would you happen to have any experience with dior denim as well? (or anyone in the thread for that matter)
My true waist is like around 31/32 but I get 19cm diors in size 30. Probably just gonna try out a 30 and hope for the best.

I actually have 19cm Diors coming in on Monday. Are yours the waxed 98% cotton 2% poly? I will let you know my thoughts on sizing when they arrive. I believe RFX45 has Diors and I know he has Balmain, you guys might even be the same size. I think he is a 30.

I have a few pairs 100% cotton that all fit well for the most part. I have a 98%/2% pair but it's a 29 and a little small on me now. Appreciate the info though I'll be on the lookout when you get them in.
