Honestly saw these and bought em right away...

I used to wear Naked & Famous when they first came out and them being a Canadian brand that I stock at my boutique but I stopped cause they started to fit really weird..

til these....:smokin $180 bucks for the wax/leather look.

Not really high end, but with the hudson discussion a few days ago I decided to try them out. Ordered 1 thing, but they sent these...

I'm not sure if it was mentioned, but the spring varsity isn't made of the same fabric as the fw piece. It's more of a suit fabric on the new version.
 
I really need to head to the boutique to check it out. I wish the older version was a permanent collection and are sold every season.
 
I was just at the SLP store in Chicago and they didn't have the varsities but he did show me a suit jacket and said the new variety will use the same wool material. Barny's has black/white varsity with leather trim that was nice, not sure what style that is closer too the old or the new.

What's up everybody,

I am considering buying those Balmain bikers

The thing though, is that I've read tons of comments about the sizing of the Balmain's. I usually wear size 32 and since I am going to spend around 1,6K, I would like to be pretty sure that the jeans are going to fit me. So any suggestions on what size should I go for will be much appreciated!
 
^ check Farfetch RFX, they still have almost all sizes. I like last seasons better with the white leather inserts.

Those were on sale for 400-500 just last year and retail was 900-1000 why would you spend 1.6K on them? Balmain makes lots of nicer jeans then that for the same obey or less. Check out Luisaviaroma they have a great selection and easy return policy.

Kevin, I was chopping it up with Ryan of SLP Chicago, he went to show me some pictures and they were from your instagram account. He says you buy a lot of him, just funny I said, I've seen these photos before and then saw your screen name. Small world.

For real? Didn't know that! 

A guy on ebay sells them for 1,6K. I saw those in Harrods last year, but can't recall the price. 

I just like the fact that they are suede and that green is one of my favorites, otherwise there is nothing special about them, you are right. 

I know I could return them, but should I go for my true size or get one size down?

lol yeah definitely small world. Especially you post stuff on the net. I went to a shake shack this afternoon and had a conversation with a worker about shoes, we exchanged IG and he noticed my account immediately.... he know what time it is lol.
 
Retail on those green Balmain are definitely more than $1000 retail because those are the green suedes from 2 seasons ago, aren't they?

The green cotton version from this past season are the ones that retailed for ~$1200, which I hate myself for missing out when it hit $500 at Barneys.

Oh those are the suede version, yeah different story there. Not a fan of green pants but I'm not the one buying or wearing them so get what you like.
 
I tried on the SLP Varsity in person.
I had the same expectations like everyone who placed that MrP order i assume. But I had to see it in person before buying & once i did, it really is not a quality piece of clothing.
The style/design appeals to me, but when the quality was not there, I was immediately turned off.
Just my opinion though. Everyone has a different take.
