Post pics of HIGH-END DESIGNER CLOTHING (pics)...............

regardless of the price, the varsity is a great piece! clean, on point and goes with everything! You gonna love it.

Zara got your white laser-ripped destroyed jeans if you're looking for a cheap alternative, I believe they only had the black a few months back.

They also got some light washed destroyed jeans.

I was about to consider a pair of Zara's once, so glad i didn't follow through...
Their blatant duplications of SLP designs is straight disrespectful. It almost feels like they wait for the look-book to drop just to create each item in their own way... :smh:

That's pretty much their strategy. First it was most evident with Balmain then it moved on the more recent Givenchy, SLP and Rick Owens.

It's fast fashion and they can produce/copy runway stuff and send them to their stores fairly quickly too.

Oh yeah they do not stop on the clothes. They had a blatant copy of the SLP jodphur short boots too. Lots of Raf/MMM/Lanvin sneakers ripoffs over the years too.

If you guys didnt know.. at Zara the managers have lots of say what comes and goes from their stores.. if they see something they like that is happening in fashion IE. Versace all over print shirts, they can call their HQ and request for a copy to be made and then shipped to their stores.

I walked into a newly opened Zara and I wasnt sure if I was at a LV, Givenchy, Balmain or SLP store... it was quite horrific - not everyone can afford the clothes we buy but god damn, have some respect and make it look like it was inpsired not copied...

That's interesting, I knew they make clothes quick but not that quick.

Also just because peeps were bashing on white jeans a few pages back. :D

RFX, apologies for the late reply. The light-wash SLP's on Matches are the D02's(skinny) and they are 1% elastaine. I went TTS and I like the fit, but they're really tight in the calves. I'm sure they'll stretch after a few wears though.

I found the light wash denim(D02) from matches tend to fit a size or two larger than any other D02. I purchased mine from Ssense, and the 31 measured 43-44 cm.

Sounds good, thanks for the tip.

I figure the elastine helps a lot with the stretch.

So weird that they suggest a dry clean washing method, not sure I've heard of jeans being dry clean only or am I just not paying attention to all my other jeans?

Scent free Febreeze!

Also, SLP charged me already so hoping the varsity arrives this week, a whole two weeks early. Are the stores getting their stock in too?

Any fixes for excess fabric in the crotch area? having this problem with my  Saint Laurent pair with 3% elastene.

No problem at all, appreciate the help.

Hows the waist? That's my biggest concern.

Measurement/sizing is pretty consistent with MrPorters?

Waistband is actually a little big on me(I can fit a few fingers in), but they get tight around the thighs. For me at least, these fit the same as the waxed D02. I'll compare mine to mr porter's measurements when I get home.

The color is a lot nicer in person than a lot of the stock photos show. Looks like an authentic stonewash rather than a solid sky-blue color.

There are other methods as well. Unless you already know then just hit up the PM

Oh yeah I know ways to keep them from smelling bad, I was just surprised that the jeans are dry clean only, I've never seen that before.
