Well damb. Most I spent on a piece of jewelry was 3 bands. Let alone 26K.

How much is the brass one?
 
SLP Lion Ring is only $800 and that is why I am considering it. It's womens though so it'll have to be a pinky ring which I really do not mind.

Later on I could probably send it to one of NTs jewelers and have real diamonds and gems placed on it.

The bikers are still just all black and it isn't the most outrageous or loud piece of clothing in SLPs line-up. From far away, you see the jeans and you just notice there are zippers and kind of something different with them and then you come up close and you just see a nicely detailed pair of jeans. It is the stand out piece for sure and you just got to go simple with your tee, shirts, jackets and shoes you wear with it and it'll be just fine.

And really if you keep buying SLP for the next 5-10 years, those jeans will be relevant in your wardrobe. Many designers aren't going to stray away too much with their vision and style and hedi is one of them, SLP is almost a continuation of Hedis run from Dior and that was the main complaint about his first comeback show. You can wear Rick Owens of today to Rick Owens from 10 years ago, same with Margiela, Raf, Jil, etc...

If I am being honest, if SLP stops making/selling those bikers today, 5-7 years from now it'll be one of those nice pieces that will be highly sought after.

I would bet money on it for sure, I was lusting for years, years before it even became mainstream there was practically no online retailers that sold them and I was not alone on that.

Balmain bikers probably has more staying power that SLPs moto jeans just because it's easier to wear and just more toned down.

Decarnin really lifted them up back in 2007 and Rousteing just happens to be very young and have good connection with Hollywood so now the brand became extra mainstream and seem like a current hype but I don't see it that way.

It's really just about not changing with the new fad/hype/styles.

I would favor that view as well. I see some with nothing in their wardrobe but Balmain bikers for denim, not a gimmick imo
 
A jewler can prolly make a similar ring for way cheaper and you'll be able to chose the metal purity and diamonds/stones to your preference
 
I have a feeling it'll cost more to commission a one-off ring since they'll have ot make a mold and test and trials to make it look right.

I considered that for the Panthere ring since I prefer is white gold and maybe smaller than the one Cartier makes but I am not sure it is going to be extremely cheaper. I guess a custom Panthere ring would cost less than $27k Cartier price tag but I figure it'll still be in the 5-digit range? I'm actually surprised I haven't seen anyone copy it yet, at least to the same extent and look as the Cartier version.

I really like that jacket, they are on Matches too but I'm gonna pass since I just got their L01 classic biker. So broke right now lol.

i like the grey more than last years , and i have to agree with rfx on slp bikers . them joints are built extremely crazy . got my pair today and im a lil disappointed . the waist runs really big , the thigh is skinny , but below the knee is like straight legged . idk its weird but i would suggest anybody try these on before buying . id exchange em but im clueless on what size to get , ill just get my $ back
