don't u guys feel like designer jewelery is such a rip off tho? Considering it's rarely real gold? And I think u could def get that cartier ring custom made for like under 6-7k as long as the stones aren't big

Designer jewelry will definitely cost more than it's worth in metal or stones, I mean the name is still attached to it.
That's why I said earlier that when it comes to getting some chain bracelet or necklace, you're better off getting a cuban from a jeweler and get more value for it for the metal.
But when it comes to something like Cartiers Love bracelet, that is just a classic and unique jewelry and I really would rather get one made by Cartier than a bootleg version for cheaper. The Panthere ring, I am just considering it because they don't make it in white gold and just too big, if Cartier makes them smaller and in white gold, custom one-off wouldn't even come to mind.
In the end, that is why I brought the conversation to the designer thread because we are mainly talking about designer jewelry and I think most know you aren't going to be paying wholesale prices on these though real Cartier Love bracelets does well on the secondary market since they do not offer discount on them anymore, they pulled all their jewelry off the non-boutiques so you can only buy them straight from Cartier without a discount and their prices goes up twice a year.
Speaking of the Love and Juset on Clou bracelets, tried them on this weekend at the boutique and damn it was so tempting. I then went to the next shop and tried on the Rolex Submariner and Explorer and it just made me think twice about paying practically the same price on the 2 Cartier bracelets in comparison to the 2 Rolex's, the Rolex's might actually be cheaper once I negotiate some discounts on it. Now I don't know what to do.

Just looked at Farfetch, so weird, they have one that is what I assume from last season (though it doesn't say it is on sale) for $180 then the new season tee is $400+. And they only have my size in the new season.

I got mine for $280, the store ran out of stock already, and now I see another store sell them for 400+. The one that sell for 180 I think are left over from last year size XL and XXL

Can't drop $27k on Cartier Panthere Ring right now so was loooking around saw these SLP Lion Head Ring (not real diamonds or gems), sort of want...
Also comes in silver brass (which is what I prefer).
Looks much better in real life (not my pic).

Looking at Balmain at Farfetch got me wanting this shearling jacket but damn I'll be sweating my butt off in SoCal with it even if I go bucknaked under it. If I catch it on sale I'll probably say F' it and buy em anyways.
