Finally was able to track down my size in the SLP Hawaiian shirt. Wish it were a little longer, but still very happy with it; quality is ridiculous and almost justifies the retail price(I paid far less than retail, luckily).

Any of you guys order from Balmain's online store directly before? Get hit with customs? They take VAT off after you pay?

What's your price range and style? Not many are going to be on sale right now but there are plenty of options. For ~$1k, if going designer BLK DNM and Surface 2 Air are options, maybe Sandro(?). $1k-$2.5k and you got Belstaff, Burberry, Paul Smith, Margiela, Band of Outsiders, AMI, McQ and some Rick Owens. $2.5k-$4k and you got Rick Owens, Gucci, Dolce, Ferragamo, Dior (maybe), Givenchy and Balenciaga.

It'll be easier to narrow down if you have a price point and style.


For non-designer options, Vanson, Aero, Schott, Lewis Leathers, etc... Most of these should less than $1k.
I know this dude looks like a douche but this Vanson jacket looks good w/ a removable shearling collar.

$1200 the most. Though this Burberry one I'm in love with is $1900. I was just going to do a ToJ but I forgot they shut down, though I'm hearing people are selling "spots" for an order? that I'm confused about.

DiPlOmAt TDOt, if you can wait a little, usually Burberry will have big sale on their website around new year I think.

I personally have a couple of BLK DNM jackets and I really like them. Retail are around 1k

I think what they are selling is their spot for their order, as in ToJ aren't taking orders yet but they haven't delivered all the orders placed yet and it's that position that people are selling so you can still get your own ToJ.


And as Kevine said, if you can wait you'd probably catch that Burberry you like on sale.
 
I tried the Brit version on in store last year, they are a little too cropped/ short for my liking. Details are amazing though.
 
Might pick these SLP up on monday, want to try on 1 size bigger though just to see. They only had a 30 at the soho store. Also gonna pick up a light wash

Yah I'm cool with it being cropped, really not a stretch after wearing Rick leathers.
