Post pics of HIGH-END DESIGNER CLOTHING (pics)...............

The SLP wallets are nice but theres a guy over on styleforum that said that the leather on his wallet corners starting peeling after only a couple of months. Posted pics too.

I really like the hermes one, I think I'll go with that

I've had the Hermes in graphite, bought it in monaco. I really like it, light and it feels like the leather gets softer after use.

Funny thing is I've just bought a goyard card case and moving away from wallets.

Been using card cases for years now... Got a couple goyard ones and LV's and they are still going strong. IMO, they are the perfect size. Can fit enough cash and credit cards/license without being bulky in your pocket.

I'm also a card case user. Bought a new one in late June. I considered SL and Bottega Veneta pieces until I stumbled upon Vianel. There are different textures and finishes available, usually with a nice pop of color and lined in a really soft leather. There are several variations of card cases, wallets and pouches as well. http://www.vianelnewyork.com/

I chose the cognac lizard skin. It's holding up well so far.

Just made the switch to a card case. Got tired of having a big bulky wallet. I was going to get one from SLP but after my trip to SLP I wasn't impressed by anything I tried so I got a Givenchy one. It has 3 slots on the each side plus it opens up in the middle. I'm pretty happy with it.

your last sentence is what makes me kinda hesistant..............has that monogram vibe, but i actually do like the pattern but everyting you said makes sense

you got any other recc? im thinking maybe a subtle burberry wallet

By played out I mean over saturated. People probably feel the same way about the LV Damair pattern but I still have a belt with it because I like it. I have since switched over to a card holder myself. It's a Lanvin rubberized python hold 2 cards each side and a slot in the middle.

I feel like a card holder is too light for me. I'll stay paranoid like I'm missing something. Lol.

Yea I retired my damier belt long ago. I don't even know where it is. Srs.

I might be going with the red Cartier card holder for my next wallet but my Damier Graphite is still holding strong, I just try to avoid putting it on my back pocket if possible, that's where most of the stress comes from. If I have a jacket on, it almost always goes in the jacket pocket or put it in my front pocket when possible.

I've been using mine for 6 years now, not in the best condition but still holding up well. I don't really take care of mine, backpocket always, LV are like tanks lol. I also had a balenciaga one which basic look the same after only a couple weeks of usage.

That cartier one looks really nice, main reason I dont do card holder is because I have a bunch of cards and dont wanna pack 2 cards into one slot or anything

Cartier has a ton of slots and still looks really sleek

Yah, that's my main attraction to the Cartier. it's still technically a billfold but it just has all the card slots. I love the color too, I want to make a switch from regular card holder to that to change things up and i could always go back if I feel it is too big. If you want something similar in size without being too bulky, check out Pradas wallets, some of them are pretty thin too.

The Cartier up there is looking real nice :nerd:

I'm getting tired of this versace bi-fold. Too bulky for a lot of my jeans and it's only like halfway full. Thinking about just downgrading to a cardholder since I really only bring my ID, credit cards and cash when I go out. Don't really need my health insurance, bart tickets, etc.

Yeah outside of jewelry which is mainly determined by the price of precious metal, Cartier is right there with most high-end brands. They are like LV though with a few exceptions.

Just got these SLP distress jeans, the actual product looks different than the stock photo, here is a comparison side by side. They fit true to size, I size up one because they stated they are 15cm and I'm worry them being too tight, these are 31 and I wish I got sz30 which is my true size.

as for the distress, its kinda a combination of the knee destroy and the crash denim.

stock photo (right), actual pair (left), let me know which pair you prefer.

I mostly lurk in this thread but I have been wanting a pair of distressed SLP's...

Didn't order this pair because the stock photo & because the knees were just too "blown out" for my liking but wow
