You shouldnt be saving up to buy watches. You either got it or you don't. Spending what would be a lot of ppls salaries on a few watches is not smart if you gotta save up for a really long time to do so in most cases

I didn't know you were our personal financial planner. Thanks for the tip good sir.

What difference does it make what he does? If he says he's a lawyer, are you going to enroll in law school?

Asking someone you don't know what they do is in extremely poor taste.

Just curiosity, and no it's not rude to ask what someone does it's normally the second or third thing you go over when you met someone new. I love NT and the quickness to assume everyone is salty. No one needs to calm down, no one is salty. My opinion was 5 watches was over kill, just like people might think 3 pairs of black balmain jeans are overkill, or 5 pairs of shoes in month is overkill. I think we should all strive to be able to provide the next generation with more then we had growing up.

RFX is old enough to speak for himself, but I'm sure he is happy to have his cheerleaders chime in.

Ps iron man is the bawse, hook me up with one of those prototype suits and an Audi R8.

^ it's clearly been a touchy subject for RFX for awhile now so no need to bring it up. You know he will never speak on it. Yes I'm sure everyone is curious but at the end of the day it won't change anything after you/we find out.

Speaking of Crash denims, Ssense have FSR of the crash right now, just order a pair one size smaller because the last one I bought from Luisaviaroma are a little loose. Just keep in mind that they fit a little bigger than the AW13 version.

I tend to ignore these things and not take it seriously but this is just funny to me.

Nice of you to accuse people of accusing others when you have made unfounded assumptions yourself.

No, it's the fact he's a young guy and judging on him avoiding the thread for days after I asked what he does leads me to make assumptions(insert assumption joke here). There is no hate, it's awesome to have a supportive family. I would have liked to have the same or greater purchasing power growing up, or even now. It is just more rewarding when people put in the work themselves. Just my opinion, shine bright like a diamond.

We get it RFX, your family is rich.

How about you practice what you preach? You don't want people to make an assumption on you or judge you then you don't do it to others or the very least keep it to yourself?

Point is your initial post was unnecessary. I simply posted my pick ups you go ahead and instigate and don't even act like you don't know what you were doing and that it won't get a reaction (from me or others). In the end, you sound mad or angry at something in your posts.

We get it RFX, your family is rich. 4 rolexs and a Cartier watch in 2-3 months. It's cool your coming up, and you have good taste, buts it's a little overkill.

If you can't see how that has a negative connotation then i don't know what to tell you. I get it, we have gotten to some arguments here but this post just sound like it is fishing for an argument and it wreaks negativity. It's like there hasn't been drama in the thread in a while so you felt the need to chime in to start something up. I mean seriously, you have nothing nice to say then just be quiet. I am sure a lot of people here hate me but they just don't waste their time and simply move on, that's what I do.

I mean this is this and the high-end shoe thread, it is all about luxury items and people binge on unnecessary things and go nuts. You said it yourself we that buy multiples of the same thing, hell it is all over NT from Prada to Jordans, from Adidas to SLP. But what you chose to do is single me out and again that post wreaks of negativity and anger.

"WE GET IT RFX" like I posted in all the threads I see to show off but in reality I post and frequent very few threads and this is one of them and the post is appropriate. I'd understand if I simply posted i everywhere and anywhere to let everyone know of my pick-ups. I am merely doing what everyone here and all over the forums has been doing and posting what they got and sharing to the same people that might share the same interest but you chose to go the route of an a-hole. See based on your posts, that's what I assume you were doing.

And again, if you don't know anything, don't make assumptions and if you do don't be mad if others make an assumption on you too. Don't throw punches if you can't take them yourself.

Anyways...

RFX : I wish I had your watches, but there was no need to post the watches in the designer clothing thread. You already post in the pickup thread, the watch thread ( in the general) and the jewelry thread (in the general).

Actually the title is misleading, this thread is also about accessories where belts, sunglasses and other luxury items that aren't shoes posted.

Go read from the beginning of the thread, it was littered with sunglasses when the LV millionaires were big.

I felt the watches fit with the thread and it shares with others who have the same interest that doesn't go in the general section of the forum.

It's still a luxury item in the end which is pretty much what the thread is for minus shoes or cars.

OP just went ghost so the title was never changed. Maybe Method Man could help out in changing the title?

I mean it's not like I posted in the AJ XI thread.

I actually did not even post it in the jewelry thread because I don't frequent that one.

The watches do fit in the thread. We post other items in here that classify into high end accessories. Nothing new.

Hey,

I know this is a long shot but, does anyone here own a pair of SLP bikers in a size 31(brand new) and would be happy to size swap for a size 30? Preferably meet-ups in the Toronto area.

Thanks

Fashion infringement is just delicate and complicated. Most of the time, big companies can send a cease and desist and the other party will just comply so it is less hassle. But in other cases when the other actually fights back, then it becomes a nuance on both sides and it is very difficult to prove you have the right to certain things considering things start in the runway and slowly trickles down to other tiers of fashion until you';d eventually see it in the cheapest stores in the mall.

Take Gucci for example, they sued Guess for copying the interlocking G design. Now we all know the interlocking G is Guccis signature and once you see it Gucci always comes to mind and it has copied many, many times. In NY, Gucci won and Guess had to pay ~$4m-$5m but that was later reduced to ~$500k. But that same lawsuit was also done in Milan and Guess won.

I mean this is a blatant rip-off of not just the shoe but the logo as well yet it's still not a clear case and instant win for Gucci. Logos should be the easiest thing to protect copyright-wise but they can't even a guarantee that so the lines blurs a bit further with copyrighting designs.

i just skimmed through that debate up there but keep doing you RFX. I see ya man. Personally, i appreciate everyone that post here because it gives me ideas and ive learned alot about putting items together, adding a different style and where to cop such items. I dont even look at new pic up threads, years ago i did but its just not that serious to post every new thing I buy. I only come to the high end threads to see whats poppin with you all.

Anyhow some new cops for me
