Are they lighter/ dirtier than the 2013 knee blowout?
I ordered the blacks and Will let you guys know how they measure out.

Don't know, but they've been telling me since before Christmas that they were "coming in soon."
The blacks pretty much look like a re-stock of the ones that dropped in the fall.

If this is accurate then they are pretty similar to the blue they put out before.

Pretty much what I want. I got the 2013 stained black and these differ slightly. I want the blue ones but only if the wash is different.
Edit: went ahead and actually ordered the blues. Only way to tell is to compare in person. Decided to cancel the blacks after realizing they prob are just a restock. The fall knee blowout tends to sit weird on some people and since I'm not that tall, it pretty much won't line up.

They do appear slightly 'dirty' in person. Fit was on point. Very skinny. Tried on size I usually wear in jeans. If I had $790 I would've copped

Also, finally picked up my SLP varsity last week. This was one of my must have pieces...Have wanted this for the longest.

Yes. But I normally buy my waist a little big so the jeans will fit my thighs. So 31 is always my go to.
I'm sure 30 would've been OD tight on my thighs but the jeans have stretch. Not sure if I had the baggier version or not which is why I took pic of tag.
They fit perfect tho imo. Was really impressed, didn't think I'd like so much. Always the knees will get more open with wear

The tag says made in italy. And I got a size 31 wich is actually down one size from my last pair wich was 32 but these fit a bit tighter so I'm pretty sure they fit true to size, i just went down for the tighter fit and the slits where more on my knee because of my short legs[emoji]128532[/emoji]

I've read comparisons of this season's crash denim to other SLP denim but can anyone compare to maybe APC or John Elliot denim? I've never worn SLP.
I currently wear APC petite new standards and petite standards in 33 or 34 and I have a pair of the JE coast denim in 34. I have large thighs so usually the waist is a bit roomy to account for my thighs. Any suggestions or is SLP just for me?
