I just got lucky with that one on grailed a few weeks ago, they pop up every now and then but still pretty rare.
old posts/questions but: lad is one of my favorite brands, you can cop at opening ceremony if you're in nyc or just find someone to get them straight from japan. no one really goes crazy for them here so OC will even have stuff from the last season in stock during the middle of the current season.

I just received my pair of SL raw hem denim.
I know kevineg6 kevineg6 suggested to go true to size but due to stock during farfetch's sale, I grabbed a size down and they're a bit tight, as expected.

My question is, should I expect some stretch in these or is this it? I feel like with some stretch, they MAY be ok but if they don't stretch a good amount, these cant work.

My favorite pick ups so far.
Can't fit the Teddy (even in 56) so picked up something similar to ease the pain. The Westbrook/Golden Bear collab. Dope Jacket, love it.

They stretch quite a bit. My rule of thumb is if you can fit into them with button and zipper up, you're good.

Ok thanks bro. I'll go try a 34 too, see which is best and go from there. I may very well end up letting this pair stretch like you said

Anyone here own a burberry trench? Are they a must have? I'm thinking of buying one soon here but I also wanted to know most ppl I see wearing them are in their 20s and up and I'm only 18 too young for one? I'm thinking the waist length one.

yea I got the long one, up to my legs. Age doesn't matter, if it looks good with what you're wearing then rock it. If not it'll look like you're trying too hard

I used to have one but sold it. I bought it when I was 22 and funny you mention it but I actually felt a little too young for it, so I didn't wear it much, and in turn ended up selling it because of it.

Is there a certain age for a trench? Not at all, but make sure that it fits your wardrobe and personality so you're comfortable and natural in it or you'll look like you're wearing a Scruff McGruff costume or your Dad's jacket instead of your own. My issue was It didn't fit in my wardrobe at the time. I had a job but hadn't developed a business casual style just yet and I didn't necessarily enjoy "dressing better" then so I didn't outside of having to for work.

Mine was cropped at about mid thigh and was light tan with nova check under the collar and lining- pretty traditional. I think younger/modern styles can add a youthful flare but run the risk of not being a timeless piece in your wardrobe, as an expensive/well made trench should be.

What area is it tight in? I had a hard time with these in my real size so I ended up getting a size bigger. The coating really prevents the 2% stretch from being felt in the areas I wanted it.

hearos, which blue destroyed are you talking about? I know the 14 re-issue are still in some stores and they are not too hard to find. the FW15 you can preorder from YSL.com but I think most size are gone, but should pop up in other store later this year.

Hey kevin,

Which stores have the 14 re-issues? Looking to double up

I ordered my pair online. It was the last pair left. My store sold out quickly! I'd imagine you could have them search stores for you though.

Berdorf Goodman in NYC have them in 28, 30 32 as of last Friday. Call Jaime Daura I think they will ship if needed, he work in Mens department 212 339 3033. You can also try SLP store on 57st, I dont know their number but you can just google it.

PS. Barney.com have 28-30 on their website

Is there two versions of the SLP teddy jacket? I've been looking at them a lot recently and have come across the regular one and a lighter version of that, I've never seen the lighter version before online or in stores so I wasn't sure.

Yeah there's a lightweight version of the teddy.
Styled the same but not in wool, I'm not sure what it is though, it's like a kind of nylon maybe? Still nice but obviously is a slinkier feel than the wool jacket

Thanks that makes sense, now I only have to decided which one. Hoping to scoop one on a sale this summer.
