Honestly, it's all a thing of perspective.
I have a $400 LV belt and a $400 Fendi belt, but I don't flaunt that #$%#. I just like the pattern, needed new belts, and purchased them because I hadn't been spending money anywhere else. Most days, I wear $20 black t-shirts, and the same pair of Nudie's I've been wearing for the past 6 months.
Don't get me wrong, I would never go all out, grabbing scarves, shawls, sunglasses, etc, because I honestly can't fit that into my budget and still live comfy like I like. Comfy meaning, I order take out when I please, I can go out have a drink 2 nights a week, take my girl out once or twice a week, and fill my car up when need be, not put 3 gallons in that joint to get from place to place.
I agree with most. When I see these young cats with key holders, belts, and either backpacks/duffles, but them dudes can't afford to grab a Dasani from the gas station because his last $20 got to go to getting into the club, it's kind of ironic.
If you can afford it, do you by all means. But if you were a young kid, and you're spending your allowance and what not on this, I wouldn't suggest it, for the simple fact that you're trying to get the newest new, and by the time you can save up for it, it's last weeks news.
naw my man you the EXACT same as them, you just think you're different beause you wanna be on your "I'm minimalist but trendy" tip, but you the same dude wanting the same attention. "Buyin LV belts cause you like the pattern", man stop it, ain't no one buyin no 400 dollar nothin just because of it has brown boxes with NO name attached, you bought it so people would say "oh wow that kid looks plainer then pie... but wait oh my, look at his belt"
i also always find it funny when people are concerned with how OTHER people soend they money, like they their financial planner or father. calm down morty. Ya'll just proving the point of why that whole wrap the scarf around your face #*+! can make sense, because who wants to have to hear or see somebody yappin about all that nonsense.
As soon as I seen DC pics I knew cats were gonna get their panties bunched, SON keep doing you. If you make you way to NYC holler at me, we can hit all the clubs cause ya'll know how to party, can't realy say the same about the fake "I wanna be classy" type dudes in here, personally I'm with you, 9 outta 10 times I'd rather look hooded out in my rediculously expensive clothes, car, jewelery, etc and have fun then sit around worrying about the reprecussions of little kids spending money on designer coin pouches.
see here's the problem with your argument.
I don't have a problem with with DC is doing. Don't know dude like that, so how he's spending his money is of no relevance to me, so why would I take shots? If you were gonna go as far back as looking as a couple pages looking for something to quote, you could have read the previous posts when dudes were asking how much the #*## cost, how he was gonna wear it, giving color commentary on how "wack" vuitton, gucci, and just designer #*## in general had becom as well as the remark about the 15 year old kids wearing it now. So I simply stated "It's all perspective." Obviously, duke doesn't mind spending his money on designer #*##. He either must have it like that, or is living in the moment.
I clearly mentioned that purchasing $400 minimum scarves and shawls are out of my everyday budget, simple as that. I don't wear my shirts short enough, or my pants low enough for the general public to see my belt on the regular, and I don't walk around showing them off like a newborn son.
From what I understood, you were supposed to be doing it with your "Jersey" shirts, right? So why you feel the need to go at some "fake classy type" dude like me? Homie, I'm not from the hood. I don't dress hood, I don't act hood, don't speak hood, don't hang in the hood so for me to "look hooded out in my rediculously expensive clothes, car, jewelery, etc" would be as you stated, ridiculous. Wearing Gucci/LV from head to toe would not be visually appealing to me, and in the circle of people I hang out with, it wouldn't impress them either, so it's not the same situation me/you.
And as far as liking the pattern, I do. Would I have ever noticed it more than likely if it didn't say Louis Vuitton/Fendi on the tag? Probably not. But that's my problem, now isn't it?
So for someone "who rather have fun then sit around worrying about the reprecussions of little kids spending money on designer coin pouches" you sure wrote a whole bunch about me...
