All those cartiers make me wonder if you're from the D?

I've been searching all over the web for this, but does anyone know what brand of sunglasses was the villain in Quantum of Solace wearing when he firstappeared in the movie?? I was thinking Tom Ford, but I can't find them anywhere.

Okay, I've skimmed through about 40 pages of this thread and the one thing that comes to mind is this: logo abuse. Gucci, LV and Burberry are the mainculprits.

The logo-heavy lines from those designers are not high fashion. They are constructed by these designer labels for two reasons: free advertising for thedesigner, and for the wearer to broadcast how much money they spend on clothes. Everyone knows how much a Burberry wallet, a Burberry polo, and a Gucci beltcost. And it's cheaply made. Burberry, for example, is the worst. Their wallets feel like plastic. They're terrible.

People obsessed with status symbols buy this stuff, but true high fashion (and fashion sense) lies in pieces that make sense with a wardrobe. If you'rerockin' Sean John jeans with a Gucci belt, then you look like a fool. I have plenty of designer stuff, from Armani Collection to Michael Bastian, and evenBurberry, but you'd never know who made what unless I told you. No logos.

I think it would behoove a lot of you to move past the logos and appreciate what some designers have out there based on how it all looks together, or at leasthow you can make it look with your wardrobe, rather than choose one item at a time that doesn't make sense.

And don't misinterpret this post, there's nothing wrong with the labels I mentioned early in this thread. They are pioneering fashion houses that havedefined fashion for years (or 150, in the case of one of them), but they can be pulled off with better sensibility. LV is a relative newcomer to clothing, butthe brand is ubiquitous. They have taken advantage of a marketing opportunity that costs them next to nothing.

Everything you said is true. But much like anything on Niketalk, there are people doing things for the RIGHT and the WRONG reasons.

If you have a love for clothing, you will appreciate fine clothing. If you're more on the trendy tip, you're all about showing what you've got.

Basically the same thing with sneakers. I don't buy disgusting sneakers because of their "limitedness" or "exclusivity". I buy what Ithink looks nice. I have nothing to prove to the rest of the world. I can wear a pair of $60 Air Maxes and make more of a statement than some dude in"Paris" dunks or whatever. I've always been a Nike junkie. And that's still what I am. I'm just fine rocking choice clothing with a freshpair of 1's.

Even on here, the dudes that were buying AF1's a year or 2 ago are suddenly running around in those God awful Damier print Chucks (checkerboard print onsneakers is NEVER a good look). Look at Titty Boi. Dude was the 3XL Tall T cat a year ago, now he's "Louie"'d up, dripping in swag. Come onnow doggie. You can't buy "swag". No matter how hard you try and no matter what you buy.

It's all good though. Everyone's taste's are different. I'm sure if you're trying to impress the ladies, then flossing your designerclothes is not a bad thing. No shame in that.

I hate that the signature stripe is only on one of the epilepts on the Gucci Military Shirts instead of both.

I am not a denim junky so I can't comment on that but I am a sucker for !%%%@ with epaulletes and I really like those.
It is awesome but I think they are different shirt design that is why some of them doesn't have the stripe.
