**CHIEF KEEF**

I was speaking about this earlier on Boxden. This whole Chicago scene is fascinating & sort of sad at the same time. Young kids are rapping about murder & drugs..then they're all killing one another & running to the studio to rap about it. And us? We're listening to it and bobbing out heads to it.

Eventually, all of these dudes are going to take each other out. And lil jay prolly gon be next. I don't see him making it to 2014.

Btw, I hope someone blogs this entire **** from the beginning one day. Explain everything. All these different sets & why certain cliques had beef, etc etc

Im numb that blatant disrespect for life. I feel like the youth of today is so interest on making $$$ and their mark on the culture that dying at 24 with a name and sum racks is better than living til your like 80 something as just another nikka.

i guess it's just sad that there's nobody telling these kids that you can live til you're like 80 something and NOT be just another nikka, and that dying at 24 with a name and some racks is the definition of just another nikka.

super talented- vic mensa chance the rapper keef bibby herb king louie

talented- fredo, reese, durk, mister, lil jo jo, rondo

trash- every body else in the age group of 15-21


hurts my heart that you guys are fascinated with this, its dumb just rap and be fake gangsters, why you wanna really go to jail, or be killed, or kill someone
just so you can get killed.

At least chief keef gets to enjoy his money and fame. all these other dudes looking like quicksand

Put it like this He is artist more than a rapper, lots of different production, and his rhymes are nice, he is a kid just like the rest of them he just acts like a kid.

I agree that this is nothing to be "fascinated" about.

But neither is the glorification of sex, money, drugs, and murder that rap has promoted for 2 decades now.

Only difference with these Chicago kids is that it comes from a real place and not a studio. 

And it's not just Chicago...**** is happening everywhere. Only reason Chicago's music got bumped to the forefront is because when Chief Keef blew up...now all the kids wanna be him.

From the outside looking in? This is very fascinating. There is 0 incentive for these kids to want to do better because they're being rewarded for their negative behaviors.

Depends on how you define rewarded. For most of them it's not manifesting in any sort of tangible reward.

To them, the rewards are fame, money, drugs, celeb status, and the thots that come along with it. the killers are the celebs.

These young kids are looking up to keef, durk, lil jay, herb, etc etc. And when they become teens, they become keef, durk, herb, etc etc. They see the whips they ride to the block in, the gucci and LV they wear, the groupies that are flocking by the dozens. They want that too.

Social media makes it worse since it allows them a platform to show off.. Like I said earlier, These dudes are committing murders and running straight to the studio to pen a 16 about it.

It's very sad that this is happening...but at the time same, it's interesting seeing it all unravel.

Yeah I do pseudo psychologist . I guess I don't have the same kinda compassion in my system as u my bad. How can u honestly crank to this music and at the same time really be that concerned? Take that time and form a peer group or sumthing
